Welcome to The Lit Shade of Heaven (formerly known as The SCND Genesis) Official Site. The name itself can be translated to 'The Dawn of Heaven'. Lit shade means dawn i.e. first it's dark, then shady as the sun begins to rise, then the shade becomes completely lit. I chose to use 'Lit Shade' instead of 'Dawn' because it's original and just sounds cool :D I know it's confusing, takes time to memorize and all, so you can just call it it "SHADE" for short.

The story itself is an Action Adventure, Anime styled, African (Zambian) web comic which also doubles as satire and has a political and racial undertone. Its basically an exaggerated vision of the future, for the world and for Africa. I encourage people to read it to get a different view of Africa and what, I think, it'll take for it to reach it's true position in the world namely; pride, self-respect, a strong work ethic, wisdom, intelligence, COMMON SENSE, GOOD EDUCATED and PATRIOTIC Leaders and to record and assert our own history.

Now, regarding Africa and it's history, you won't find any candy coating here; I'll be open about how stupid tribalism and ego and Africans themselves can be and at the same time I'll violently/harshly/honestly/100% condemn everything the Europeans and Arabs have and are STILL doing (Darfur, debt trap, slavery (Whites for 400 years and Arabs for 1400 years!), colonisation, EGYPT?!?, unfair trade, bullying and the EPA's) as well as what Christianity

(I know what you're thinking, what does Christianity have to do with this? Well read THIS Article from START to FINISH and then you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about. People get upset, EMOTIONAL and mistake Imperialism with Christianity. There's nothing wrong with tradition when applied in it's cultural form, but Christianity is for EVERYONE. I don't deny it was used against Africa, keyword being USED. Seriously read the Bible and tell me if you find any verse that encourages slavery or colonisation or racism. As for inferiority or mental colonisation, dude, I'm proud to be African, but I'm proud to be Christian too. Like I said don't let emotions or issues of race blind you, just be honest and open minded and you'll find the right answers. Besides Africa is very relevant to Christianity as it took a relatively active role e.g Egypt, Cush(Sudan), Ethiopia etc). However, I do agree with the author over the how bad inferiority complex is to Africa, we should be proud of who we are as well as our land and should not allow ourselves to be walked over. But we must now allow our resent and anger to blind our logic and make us to stupid and or irrelevant things. Remember the devil thrives on divide and conquer, all people should unite in every possible way! Christianity is one of those way's!

I'll also attack Africans who shun their homeland, those who contribute to it's destruction and those who shamelessly beg for 'aid' and 'investment' as well as idiots who are mentally colonised and who think everything American or European is the God given truth? there's clearly something Efed up there man.

Don't freak out though it's not all doom and gloom. There's lot's of humour and light moments. I poke fun at everyone including myself. expect sentences like "So what? I steal, although I prefer to call it 'Pro-Active redistribution of wealth'", "Look at that mutant guy, his hands so big because he jerks off so much", "What a mess! You see, this is what happens when you employ black people" and "what's up nigga! Oh wait you're white, Whats up Duuuhde" All this plays out in a world fueled by magic, and hence has an epic fantasy feel and some interesting results. Think of it as an African politically, racially and comedy oriented fantasy series.

The third world war was preceded by an increase in large-scale natural calamities all over the world. Localised wars, revolutions, political disturbances and large scale terrorist attacks increased. Assassinations of high profile leaders would take place and tension between countries would rise...MORE
