The current climate on Creda

Creda has never been an anarchic world in its entire history, but that now seems to be changing. A series of terrorist attacks have taken place on the cities of the inhabited continent Terra, including bombings of public facilities, kidnappings and mass shootings, which have so far resulted in 73 deaths and hundreds more injured. The organisation behind these attacks calls itself the Front for Democracy, and states that the attacks will continue until such time as Creda's hereditary system of government is abandoned.

To say this came as a shock would be an understatement; although its government is indeed hereditary, the Dukes of the six major cities sitting on a council with the Planetary Governor, Creda is a prosperous world and the Dukes are popular. The Front for Democracy is proving infuriatingly difficult for the security forces on Creda to pin down and concern is growing over the mounting casualties.
