Society "Fight for Sight" is rendering its services to ailing community
of the area since 1980, and (44) Forty Free Eye Camps have been conducted at
Al.Masoom Hospital Pirmahal in which more than (2,86,265), patients got out
treatment for various ocular ailments. The total of operated cases exceeds 78,027,
include (IOL 1,813), The valuable services of the Hospital got recognition on
Governmental,Social,and religious levels.
Recently our work has been introduced to the International Societies,Associations,
Institutes and Institutions. Fortunately the response is very warm and the work
has been recognized and highly appreciated. The Free Eye Camps at Al.Masoom
Hospital Pirmahal Pakistan are run in a very methodical manner.
These are well publicized
by the local regional and International News' papers Arrangements are made
through field workers for the wide spread dissemination of the programme by
handbills,Wall posters announcement in the remote area by Microphone/Loud
speakers cooperation from the religious and social leaders is always sought
for the success of the camp.
As the permanent staff
of the Hospital falls short in the tremendous drop in of the patients, additional
staff is hired well in advance to gurantee smooth running of the camp since
the camps are conducted with missionary spirits , they are visited by the
elite of the society.
