Forty four
(44) Free Eye Camps have been conducted under the Al.Masoom Society "Fight
For Sight" at Al.Masoom Hospital Pirmahal Pakistan. in which more than
2,29,783, patients got out patient treatment for various ocular ailments. The
total of operated cases exceeds 75,980, include (IOL 1,813).
Free eye camps have been conducted in Al.Masoom Hospital Pirmahal twice a year,
which dates are mentioned below,
The 45th free eye camp will be started on 15th September and is scheduled to
continue till 10th October 2009 The consultation, Medication to the out patients,
operative treatment, accommodation {to the patients and the relatives}and food
all are provided without any charges. Eye glasses would also be made available
to the needy patients, again with free of cost.
Free Eye Camp Dates :
15th February to 10th March .
15th September to 10th October.
To begin with, the camps were conducted yearly but after wards the rush of
patients compelled us to schedule to twice a year.
The official duration of the camp 20 to 25 days ,but almost invariably every
time we have to extend it for 10 to 12 days to combat the uncontrolled and
constant rush of the needy patients in the last days of the camp and the manage
follow up and post operative cure of those operated in the last dates.
