Connecting With Service to the Community
* Alcoholics Anonymous: A special ministry
held Sundays at 6 p.m. to
provide support, help and guidance to members and non-members dealing
with substance abuse.
* Clothing Drives: Instead of throwing unwanted or wrong sized clothing
away, Immanuel's members bring them to the church building to be
distributed to various local agencies.
* Food Pantry: An in-house food bank providing emergency food supplies to
those in need. This program is coordinated with the NECOM organization in Grand
Rapids.
* Pancake Breakfast: Held the last Saturday of each month for homeless
and low income individuals in need of a nourishing breakfast and Christian
fellowship.
* Community Affiliations: Heartside Ministries, Guiding Light Mission,
North East Community Ministries (NECOM) and Mel Trotter Ministries, GRACE,
Access, Faith in Motion, Lutheran Child and Family Services, and Luther Home.
* Hospital Chaplaincy: Ordained Pastors are available to meet the special needs of people who are hospitalized. For more
