There are two ways to link to my site: the first way is to copy the marquee to your own site and call the image from there. This is how I prefer you do it if possible. Otherwise, you can call the image file from my site. Either way, the marquee itself is tagged as a link to my home page.
Save it to the same working directory that you use on your computer to work on your own html files.
Now, highlight the following text, and copy to the clipboard by pressing "CTRL" and "C" together.
<p>
<a href = "www.oocities.org/ilovemycorset/index.html">
<img src = "marqueeanim03.gif"></a>
</p>
Open a copy of your home page or links page with Notepad.
Now insert the cursor into your copy of your links page, wherever you want the link to appear. Save the editied file, close notepad, and double click on the file to open it with your default web browser, usually Internet Explorer. Test the link by clicking on the marquee that appears ion the page. If it works, upload the edited file as well as your copy of my animated marqee. Test it again in plae on the web server.
Don't download the gif file. Instead, use the following text, which gets the image from my site:
<p>
<a href = "www.oocities.org/ilovemycorset/index.html">
<img src = "www.oocities.org/ilovemycorset/marqueeanim03.gif"></a>
</p>
That's all there is to it! Now you have a kewl animated marquee on your page, and the visitors to your site can click on it to get to my site. If there are problems, or questions, EMAIL ME.
BACK to my home page.
