Anthony was born on February 19, 2001. He came into this world three months early. His mom Lynn, was suffering from eclampsia and during a doctor visit, it was noticed that Mom and baby were in distress. Lyn was admitted to the hospital and Anthony was delivered by C section. Anthony weighed in at 1 pound 1 ounce.
He is fed through a tube and is hooked up to monitors. It is a very distressful site for Mom and Dad. We pray that he will grow big and strong.
March 23, 2001
Anthony now weighs 1 pound 15 ounces and is gaining slowly.
On May 19th, three months to the day he was born, Anthony was sent home from the hospital. He is doing fine, eating and putting on much desired weight..
As of June 19th, Anthony now weighs 5 pounds. The doctors have adjusted his age to 1 month. His development will be monitored until he is two years old.
Anthony - 4 months old
July 26th: Anthony is now 5 months old. He is progressing at a
slower pace than a normal baby. He is like a 2 month old. He is very
sociable and smiles a great deal. He favors his right side, due to a
retinal problem that should be cleared up by the time Anthony is 6 months old, so he sees a
physical herapist every other week.
Anthony is now 6 months old.
His eyes are perfect. The retinal (ROP) is OK.
He is a very happy baby.
July 2003
Anthony will be three years
old February 19 2004. He is a charmer. He is doing extremely well in
his development. Only his speech is delayed a little. He is
very bright and understands everything you say to him.
