Case 6- a case of multiple warts on the scalp treated with homeopathy

History: A 16 year old boy came to me with multiple warts on the scalp.They had been there for 2-3 years.The entire scalp was covered with them. He was unable to comb his hair for the touch of the comb was quite painful. Sometimes it would even lead to bleeding because of injury. He had been applying Thuja ointment as many people do with no results.
Examination & treatment: They were hard & horny to touch though there was no pain to touch. Besides there was a lot of dandruff in his scalp. My first aim in treatment was to stop new warts from coming up,besides reducing the size of the existing ones. Also the dandruff required to be treated.
Results: During the initial 3-4 months we were unable to be sure if there was any change at all because they were too many in number. Then it was noticed that one wart which was particularly large had reduced in size. So the same treatment was continued.After about 6-8 months most of the warts were found to be reducing in size. The dandruff was also better. After sometime pieces of some of the the larger warts started falling off. Few smaller ones had become very small, almost pin-head sized & caused no problem while combing the hair.
The treatment continued for 2 years by which time, all the warts had disappeared- some had fallen off , others had become smaller & smaller & disappeared. The medicines were discontinued & now after about 3 years there has been no recurrence.

One more case

Here I would also like to mention another case of a single large wart on the forearm which had come up only since a few weeks. The lady had come to me since it had suddenly started bleeding following an injury. I treated her with a single dose of homeopathic medicine following which the wart simply fell off 2 days later.
