3 Votes Between Retina, DeLeon; DeLeon, DiChezzerai
"Electoral College Getting Curiouser and Curiouser" Election Analysts Say

Less than a week after California swung in Nelson DiChezzerai's direction, state polls have confirmed another electoral college shift. Indigo Retina remains in the lead with 185 electoral votes, Satch DeLeon remains in close second with 182 votes (just 3 behind Retina) after gaining DiChezzerai's Michigan, and Nelson DiChezzerai, after an unprecedented aquisition of formerly Retina-leaning states Missouri and Arkansas, remains in a close last with 179 votes.

"This is getting freaky," Drew Porter, an election analyst for the New York Times said, "I cannot recall this happening mid-campaign in a long long time."

The only loser from this electoral college shift is Indigo Retina, who lost a tentative 21 electoral votes with DiChezzerai's gains in Missouri and Arkansas. His lead is sustained only by his gain of New Hampshire's 4 electoral votes mid-week.

The other 2 candidates gained ground in the electoral college, however, but it is this reporter's opinion that God doesn't like gloating bastards, so no comments will be heard from them.

Lance Quicksilver, Nelson DiChezzerai's public relations director, released a statement this morning from DiChezzerai's Election HQ in Savannah, Georgia. It said, "We are pleased with our continued success in the electoral college, and believe that this campaign will (as it should) be a very spirited one."

This news comes one week before DiChezzerai and DeLeon are scheduled to choose their vice-presidential candidates. Retina has already chosen Odephius McAntismash. Demographics may change with the news of their choices, as different candidates could invoke different reactions from ethnic, religious, or economic groups.
