Conventions Spark Electoral College Shift
States too close to call bring Satch DeLeon back to the lead

The introduction of "States too close to call" into the Electoral scene has brought Satch DeLeon back to the leading position in the Electoral College with 154 electoral votes. DiChezzerai and Retina are tied for second with 138 votes each. The main beneficiary from this week's shift is Zeus, however, who gained 59 electoral votes with 2 key acquisitions: New York and Pennsylvania, bringing him to 83 electoral votes.

Before, all the states had been in one political camp or another (or possibly another or another) but with the convention coverage on every major news station, including ANCBS (American National Columbian Broadcasting System), exposure to ideas and platforms, along with the charisma of the candidates and the excitement of their supporters, has virtually evened the polls in 3 states: Missouri, Illinois, and Connecticut.

"It's odd, nowadays, to have a state that's too close to call. People are usually pretty polarized when it comes to politics in this day and age. But with 4 candidates, it's difficult for a vast majority of a state to just support one person. It was bound to happen sooner or later. " says election analyst Drew Porter of the Juneau Picayune. Our editors assure us that it's much more exciting and riveting than Mr. Porter describes.

No statements have been made by any candidates about the electoral college shift, except for Zeus's poignant, eloquent yet concise statement to all his opponents. It read, "Ha".
