The band was born in 1993.

None of them ever studied music, and
yet their begining were made of lots of live performances.
The very first release was in 1994: a limited edition of a 5tx demotape.
One year after another unreleased song, Frost upon the trees, was choosed
for the 2nd volume of Intimations of immortality, annual sampler of Energeia,
the napolitan label that signed the band since the untill 2000.
In 1996 they produced their debut cd, with long and pleasant sessions
in a recording studio placed in a farmhouse in the middle of a large olive
grove on the hill of Velia, facing the sea of south Italy.
The Trees album (8tx, Energeia 1997) was promoted by a national tour;
at that time Hermes (former Carmilla) temporarily replaced Nina and Davide
(guitars), quitted to concentrate on his studies at university
In 1998 the band took part at the cd tribute Anyone can be a Virgin Prunes,
released by label Radio Luxor, performing a personal version of Sweethome
under white clouds. A few months later they started the session of their
second album, Harmonizer (10tx, Energeia 1999), produced at the MD studio,
in Naples; the title-track features also on the cd compilation A painted
dream 2, released and promoted by the american magazine Losing today.
In 2000 Davide moves to London, where he still lives, and Paolo spends
most of the year in Miami, so the songwriting for a new record gets delayed;
today the band has done more than a hundred concerts and counts on good
attention by the international press, is back in studio working on the
new cd ASH, coming out on Seahorse in December 2002
