  • The following is a brief account of the concert from a fan in Hong Kong:

  • On that particular day I can tell you that was one of the happiest moments of my life. The concert started at 8:00 P.M. and Koji started solo; singing 4 mellow songs from the start with his own guitar. Then the band members came out one by one and go to their respective position and things began to be hotter and hotter. I was really frantic when Koji sang up beat fast tempo songs. I decided to stand up and clap my hands way up in the air. Then, suddenly I notice people at my back were doing the same. I am sure Koji felt the impact of the crowd that is why on that particular night he gave his very best. His voice was so intense and strong and the band members were really playing very well.

  • Towards the middle of the concert Koji began to introduce his band member`s . First, on keyboard he said: Satoko Ando my wife (everybody scream); guitar and Anzen-Chitai members Wataru Yahagi and Yutaka Takesawa (everybody scream) and the rest of the members were applauded as well. I was really surprised and happy to see Yutaka Takesawa. The chemistry between Wataru and Yutaka on guitars was really a good combination since they blend very well. The rest were not Anzen-Chitai members but they played very well. I just wonder why Yuji Tanaka (Drums) and Haruyoshi Rokudo on bass were not there, it would be really nice to see the whole team of the Anzen-Chitai members. Anyhow the drummer on that night gave his best and have done some exibition which caught the attention of the crowd. Later Wataru Yahagi responded by making his on exibition on guitar ala Rock and Roll blues type sound which was very effective in catching the crowds attention and applause.

  • The people were happy to hear Koji say some Cantonese greetings like "Dor Tse Sai" which means Thank you very much; and Ley Ho meaning good evening. Every time Koji had something to say ; some people in the audience would shout saying "Tamaki san ~ Aishiteruyo" then Koji will respond by saying "I LOVE YOU TOO". Later Koji and all the members bid goodbye and went to the backstage but they were forced to come out because the audience including me were screaming for an encore. For the first encore Koji sang "Koi no Yokan" and 2 more songs. After this they went to the backstage for the second time and people began screaming, clapping their hands, and shouting for one more encore. So for the 2nd and last encore Koji sang "Kanashimini Sayonara" accompanied by his wife`s keyboard. As a whole the concert was really excellent and it proved that Koji Tamaki is one of the best singer and performer in music history. I hope you enjoy this news which I just related.
