First Job: Newspaper Carrier for Des Moines Register and Tribune

Began singing career at the age of 11 for his elementary school show at Mount Olive Lutheran church and school. In this show Jeff performed a full Elvis concert, for which he had to work for. Jeff began his singing trying to sound like Elvis as he had once heard Elvis say that your own voice blends best with itself. So often times Elvis would sing his own harmony parts on his recordings. Jeff thought if he could learn to sound like Elvis, Elvis might hire him so he could sing backup in his voice for him live. Elvis passed away two months after recieving Jeffs letter and tape.

Unlike many that do impersonations of Elvis to make a profit. Jeff began doing his Elvis impression in shows three years before Elvis' passing as a tribute to him, not a money scheme.

Started with a band called Terry Wayne and The Country Three at age 12

Started his own band Jeff Brandt and Galaxy at age 13, which he and his wife performed with until 1986.

Began Radio Career at KJJC in Osceola, Iowa in 1986, also managed his own radio station, KXLQ in Indianola, Iowa and then moved to Branson and began work at KRZK.

Worked for several shows in Branson, Missouri and in 1995 his greatest and most rewarding experience in his entertainment career happened! Jeff was hired by Wayne Newton.

Favorite TV Show: The Floppy Show! (For those of you not from Jeff's home state of Iowa. The Floppy Show was a kids cartoon show on WHO-TV in Des Moines. Floppy is a puppet dog that was the star of the show. They would do live segments with an audience of children, and then break for cartoons. Jeff credits his earliest memories of doing impressions to The Duane Ellett and Floppy Show.
