PROFILE
Full Name: Jerome Patrick Flynn

Date of Birth: 16th March 1963

Place of Birth: Farnborough, Kent.

Natural Hair Colour: Mousy Blonde - getting lighter in the sun

Colour of eyes: Blue

Early Role Model/strong influence:
My father ( an actor and singer), Arthur Miller for his writing, James Stewart, Jerry Lewis, but probably most of all Natalie Wood who I will never quite get over. I first saw her in West Side Story when I was about 11 years old, a dangerous and influential age for a young boy to first come across Natalie wood! Most recently Tommy Cooper.

Team(s) You Support:
Tottenham, but I am not a committed fan and will not allow myself to get depressed if they loose in a 3 - 2 thriller than win in a 1 - 0 stinker if you get my drift.....

Favourite Music:
The Beatles were hugely influential and still are, my parents hardly had any other records; my brother, sister and myself would spend hours singing their songs and learning their harmonies. Elvis, Ella Fitzgerald, Sam Cooke, the Drifters, Frank Sinatra and more recently Del Amitri, Crowded House ( Woodface is my favourite album ever!) Annie Lennox.

All Time Favourite Film(s):
"It's a Wonderful Life"

Sports/Games you like to play:
I've always been very sporty. I play football, cricket, tennis and badmington. When I'm keeping fit I also run, cycle and skip. I adore swimming and find it very therapeutic.

Favourite Food:
I'm mostly veggy but still eat some seafood when eating out. Definately Thai. I'm also mad about fresh fruit salad.

What Do You Do To Relax?
25 minutes of good excercise really helps me relax. Also reading, being with friends, meditating ( but I don't do enough of that at the moment), being by the sea, lying in a field or looking at the stars, anything that reminds me just how big and beautiful the whole "thing" is and how we're all part of it.

What makes you really angry?
Worrying too much about what people think of me, that makes me angry. Witnessing the many way that we abuse each other, other animals and the enviroment we live in.

Your perfect holiday location:
Pembrokeshire for it's stunning coastline, warm heated locals and general magical vibe. I feel connected when I go there, also Ireland and New Zealand for simular reasons.

Bad habits/secret vices:
I've always been very clumsy but I'm getting better. I fall over a lot and I'm always walking into people in the street. My feet are quite smelly but not as bad as my brother's.

Who/what makes your laugh?
Eric Morcambe and Tommy Cooper are untouchable in my eyes. People alive today - Billy Connolly and Robin Williams. Robson Green has always made me laugh a lot ! Abbot and Costello, Jerry Lewis, Laurel and Hardy I could go on......and several of my friends.

Who do you most admire?
Hard to answer because there are hundreds and thousands of people I admire so I'll give you the first few that spring to mind. Nurses, Greenpeace, Arthur Miller, Gorecki ( composer). Anybody striving for the truth.

Which of the characters you've played do you like best?
Very fond of Paddy obviously as I've spent so much time in his mind which has inevitably crossed over with mine on occassion. Otherwise "Alcibiades" in Timon of Athens at the Young Vic stands out in my memory.

What do you most like to do on a sunny sunday afternoon?
Have a picnic with family and friends in the country.
