We have been mislead. IRON MAIDEN IS NOT COMMING TO FLORIDA!
Iron Maiden will miss over one forth of the tour dates - THE ENTIRE SOUTH!!!
I am very disapointed in Ozzfest for a couple of things. First they could not come anywhere
near Tampa. Isn't there an amphitheatre in Fort Meyers? Second they actually scheduled
The West Palm date for September 4th, the EXACT SAME DATE as last year's cancelled concert.
It doesn't take a clairvoyant to see that this might be a problem. But the third and most
offensive is that no where on the Ozzfest site did I find any indication that Iron Maiden
would not be there for the full tour. One has to look in message boards on the site (available
only if you register) or has to go to ironmaiden.com. Iron Maiden is the band right before
Black Sabbath and they don't think this is important enough to mention. And if Iron Maiden
has any sense of honor at all, they will schedule dates in the South to make up for this. But
we will probably get snubbed again, as always. You know last year at Ozzfest when I found out
that Hatebreed had cancelled, I thought that even if they offered me a full refund if I left right
then, I would have said no, I would rather just see the other bands. If I went to see Iron
Maiden and found out they wouldn't be playing, I would DEMAND a full refund. Since Ozzfest
scheduled dates after the tour last year in other places and NEVER came back to West Palm
Beach, I would say that Ozzfest will probably NOT do the honorable thing in this. Maybe
Iron Maiden will. I think that Iron Maiden has snubbed Florida for far too long. I think
that we and the rest of the South should get Iron Maiden concerts this year.
:^( Iro n Maiden denied!!!
Tuesday March, 15, 2005 I have the most exiting news - ARE YOU READY?
IRON MAIDEN WILL BE IN FLORIDA THIS YEAR!!!
But here's the catch - it will be as part of Ozzfest and is not scheduled to come to anywhere in Florida but West Palm Beach. Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden will be on the main stage together. This is for real. Check Ozzfest.com if you don't believe. Orlando's own Trivium will be there as well as Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage. Here is the list of bands and dates: [From Ozzfest.com]
Ozzfest the king of festivals triumphantly returns this summer to celebrate its hard-earned 10th anniversary with the staggering line-up of BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN, ROB ZOMBIE, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, SHADOWS FALL and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY.
The Hot Topic Second Stage will be headlined by ZOMBIE and feature a preview of rock's rising stars, including AS I LAY DYING, MASTODON, THE HAUNTED, IN FLAMES, ARCH ENEMY, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, BURY YOUR DEAD, SOILWORK, TRIVIUM, IT DIES TODAY, A DOZEN FURIES and more.
IRON MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson said, "This summer's MAIDEN touring is based on the recent 'Early Days' DVD and all the songs we do at Ozzfest will be from our first four albums 'Iron Maiden', 'Killers', 'Number of the Beast' and 'Piece of Mind'. We will be bringing over our full European show, naturally including as special guest Eddie in various appropriate guises!! The stage sets, production and backdrops will recreate aspects of the shows on the tours around those albums only bigger much bigger!!! We dont know if anyone has done anything like this before but we think its something the fans will really appreciate both in the choice of songs and in the production values."

Dance of Death is released on Monday, September 8, 2003 (Sept. 9 here is the U.S)
Real Audio Clips are available as of Sunday September 7, 2003
Remember this site is ALWAYS updated when a new Maiden studio album comes out.
All music files are RealAudio. These are LOW QUALITY and are merely examples of the artists work which will not harm the artist in any way. I cannot and will not post MP3s here of even the most rare files. Some of my fellow Maiden Webmasters have tried this and have paid the price. Most of the new RA files ('99 and later) are created from WAV files ripped from CDs. All new RM files are for RealPlayer 8, RealPlayer G2, RealOne, etc. Get Player from Real.com and choose "Free RealOne Player."
Real Audio Clips from the new album are available. They are VERY LARGE.
They can be played with RealPlayer 8 and above (including G2 and RealOne).
My old encoder is no longer working, so I could not create the RealPlayer 5.0
compatible files that I have used in the past (1998-2000).

I saw Metallica in
Orlando (the ONLY Florida date - at least THEY went to Florida - some bands
have at least one member that lives in Miami and STILL can't make it to Florida).
They still have it. The best thing is they played mostly classics with
one 2 songs from St. Anger and Fuel was the only song played from the much-disliked
Load/Reload albums. My only disappointment was they didn't play Unforgiven
or Fade To Black. Here is most of what I remember from the setlist. It
is not in order with the exception of the 1st 2 songs.
Battery
Master Of Puppets
Sad But True
Sanitarium
Frantic (From St. Anger)
For Whom The Bell Tolls
No Remorse
St. Anger (From St. Anger)
Seek And Destroy
Fuel (The Only Load/Reload song played!)
Blackened
Creeping Death
Enter Sandman
Nothing Else Matters
One
The only place where you can dream, living here is not what it seems.
Ship of white light in the sky, nobody there to reason why.
Here I am, I'm not really there, smiling faces ever so rare.
A let's walk in deepest space, living here just isn't the place.
Stalks of light come from the ground, when I cry there isn't a sound.
All my feelings cannot be held, I'm happy in my new strange world.
Shades of green grasses twine, girls drinking plasma wine.
A look at love, a dream unfolds, living here, you'll never grow old.
Don't you hear me call? Ooh
- Steve Harris
