This book is full of great stories and great receipts.
"Miss Chocolate and the Law" by Rosanne Bittner
Pamela Hiles was having the worst day of her life. Her car's air was out and she
was sweating, her hair was limp, and she was lost. Trying to make a job interview that she couldn't miss, she runs
a stop sign and almost is hit by Court Barker. Court isn't just a regular guy, he's with the Highway Patrol. Pamela's
car is in a ditch and she's about to get a ticket from this hunk of a cop. But a melted chocolate bar and the attraction
between Court and Pamela won't let be easy to get rid of for either.
"Just Desserts" by Elizabeth Bevarly
Claire Reidling and Gus Brody were old friends. The best of friends. Claire was a pastry
chef and Gus was a chocoholic. They made a great team, only thing is that Claire was engaged to Ben Summers, her
boss, and Gus hated him. Claire, who can't seem to keep a hold on her engage ring, has once again lost the monstrosity.
Where? In one of the hundred desserts that were to be eaten at a benefit. Gus and Claire decide the only way to get
the ring is to eat their way through all her desserts. Not only do they find the ring but they find out that they aren't
just friends.
"Sweet Nothings" by Muriel Jensen
Maggie Charles was on the "Chocolate Valentine Cruise" to cover the Chocolate Bake-Off.
She wasn't expecting to see Mike Lawless. But when they both wound up in the same small cabin, they had to deal
with each other. You see, the two had broken up two years ago, because Maggie didn't think that Mike didn't take
enough time for their relationship. Now Mike is determined to set things straight and win back Maggie's love.
"The Kitchen Casanova" by Elda Minger
Jessica Sinclair had to take a cooking class, even if it was a male only class. Thankfully Nick
Kellaher takes pity on her and allows her into the class. Through the six weeks of the course Nick and Jessica realize
that there's more going on between them then just cooking lessons. But Jessica is engaged, to a man she doesn't
love but her parents want her to marry. Jessica must break her family's hold, so that she can live her
life with Nick.

"The Heirloom" by Mary Balogh
John Chandler loved the location of Cartref Hotel along the wild coast of western Wales.
He and his fiancée were traveling to Cartref Hotel for an engagement weekend. But John was swept back to Regency
times to live the life of his long dead ancestor, John Chandler, Viscount Cordell. John had all of his ancestor's memories
and knew that he was at Cartref Hotel, with his wife, Adèle, to die. But it seemed that when John replaced
his ancestor, he brought his healthy body with him. John and Adèle realized the love they were meant to
have while the other John found the life he too should lead.
"A Dream Across Time" by Constance O'Banyon
Olivia Heartford was finally on her way to New Orleans. Since she was a small child she has
had dreams about the 1800's, New Orleans, and in particular Jade St. Clair. Upon arriving at the Bridal Veil inn, once
the home of Jade St. Clair, she began to have flashes of the lives that had once lived in the 1800's. Oliva begins to
realize that she must try to change what happen in the past between Jade and her true love Raige. Oliva gives up her
mortal form to find her destiny and to keep true love together.
"Man of Her Dreams" by Virginia Brown
Amanda Brandon Creswell hated the fact that she had to give up her beloved family home.
But the family feud between the Scott's and the Brandon's had made it impossible for her to keep the house. While
cleaning out the attic, she found Deborah Scott's wedding dress. She was supposed to marry James Brandon, Amanda's
great-great-grandfather, but instead married his half brother Michael Scott. James was accused of killing Michael.

gets her best friend to "lend" her the same twins. As the Risley's leave for a week vacation, Chip and Liz learn what
it's like not only to take care of children but what true love is all about.
"Daddy's Girl" by Kathleen Eagle
Dana Barron can't believe that she is really pregnant. She also can't believe that the baby's father
is such a big creep. Deciding to give the baby up for adoption, she moves close to the University of Minnesota, where
she's going to get her PHD while waiting for the baby's birth. Calling a cab to get to her first doctor's appointment,
she meets Alex LaRock, an old college friend. Alex can't believe his luck, he'd always had a crush on his college
tutor, Dana. Dana not wanting Alex to think bad of her, she tells Alex that she is married and her husband is in the
Gulf. Not wanting to leave her alone, Alex becomes her "coach" and best friend. Alex would love to become more
that just friends but Dana's married. Stay tuned to this one to see if these to old friends can make it through and become
old loves.
"A Stranger's Son" by Emilie Richards
On his way home for a much needed break, Devin Fitzgerald, stops to help the stranded person,
who's car went into a ditch in the middle of a blizzard. Once he gets to the car, he finds a pregnant woman, who's in
labor. That's not the only bad news, the woman is Robin Lansing and the baby she's about to have is his. Devin gets
Robin to his cabin and safely delivering a healthy baby boy. Robin and Devin work out an uneasy truce. Devin visits
his son at least twice a month and Robin and their son, Nick, stay at the cabin. Meanwhile, Devin tries to show Robin
how much he loves her, for herself not just because of Nick. Will she trust the love she has for Devin or will she
let fear rule her life?

"Rich Man, Poor Man" by Judith Arnold
Contestant number 1, Emilie Storrs. Emily just got down-sized right out of her government
job and is tired of living paycheck to paycheck. So she takes a chance and volunteers for the How to Marry a
Millionaire contest. Taking Torrey Benson's advice, she gets a job at a Caribbean resort as a waitress. Hoping
to meet a million dollar hunk instead she can't take her eyes off, Tyler Weston, the working-class bartender. Well,
the more Emilie gets to know Tyler the more she's not so sure if she wants love or money.
"Family Wealth" by Muriel Jenson
Contestant number 2, Camille Brown. Millie's only reason for volunteering is so that she
can find a millionaire, who can pay for her sister's college tuition. Her plan, which seems heaven sent, is to propose

month together at his ranch and get to know each other. Millie having nothing to lose, goes. What follows is a
great story of to people, who are meant to be together.
"Once Upon a Husband" by Suzanne Foster
Contestant number 3, Christopher "Kit" McGrath. Kit's only reason for volunteering is to
try to get back his only true love, Torrey Benson. To achieve this goal he follows her aboard a cruise to the Mexican
Rivera. Torrey can't believe that after all these years that Kit is here, acting like a romantic reject. Kit and Torrey
have to overcome a lot, her engagement to another man and their not so great past.

life.

Devlin Gilpatrick's gourmet cooking show, Dining with Devlin, biggest competition is Cathy Mallory's
down-home cooking show, Cooking with Cathy. Devlin and Cathy are known for their dislike of each other.
But when the two are threatened by an old enemy they ban together in not only the kitchen but in love too.
This book is unique!! Margaret St. George wrote all the odd chapters, "her side" and Jasmine Cresswell wrote the
even chapters, "his side". Check this one out for something a little different.
