"A Purrfect Romance"
Harper Monogram, September 1995, paperback
He's your best friend; he loves without question; he's strong and silent, tender yet tough. He's all you could ever
want. In a cat, that is. Here is a book that brings all these things together and tells some great love stories. Each
author writes a complete story, each story is one hundred or less pages and I didn't feel shortchanged. Each story
had compelling characters, wonderful prose, and strong love between the hero/heroin.
In "Out of the Dark" by Jennifer Blake, a young woman dares to tame
both a panther and a cold-blooded assassin.
The second -tail- "A Wish and a Prayer" by Robin Lee Hatcher, a
dressmaker's prayers are about to be answered by the not-so-angelic angel... Angel Emeline, who happens to be a
cat.
And in the last story,"Belling the Cat" by Susan Wiggs, the enchanted
daughter of a Welsh chieftain finds herself drawn to her clan's prisoner. An interesting tale where not only is there
magic - but the hero and heroine who are both virgins... which I'm sure you know is very rare.

"Myth and Magic: Helen of Troy, New York" by Paula Detmer Riggs
This is the intensely emotional story of Helen who, just as she's walking down the aisle to marry the man she's settled
for, is abducted by her ex-husband Alex, the only man she's ever truly loved. Eight years earlier Alex & Helen suffered
a very painful divorce because of Alex's inability to come to terms with certain things that happened to him while

go of the past & opens his heart.
