Welcome to JLA Reborn!

Welcome back to JLA Reborn, the website devoted to the ultimate super team of all time, companies, and universes. From comic books to posters and even to music albums, the JLA has proven to be one of the most powerful influences on the comics franchise ever.

While JLA Reborn focuses on Grant Morrison's rejuvenation of the team, the JLA wouldn't be what it is today without its past. The small team of Black Canary, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Aquaman set the standard that the current team now exemplifies. Without the oldies, the current run of the series would possibly have been another failed attempt at pulling together some meaningless heroes without their own titles as means to scrape up some spare change for DC Comics. Thankfully, however, Morrison has taken up the reins of JLA writer and given us the original power that was once installed in the series, and now the reins are passed to Mark Waid. It is without a doubt that they work with the greatest comic book of all time.

This website is a youth's attempt at gathering writers to detail every origin and biography of every character that has appeared in the current run of the JLA series. The site is constantly being worked on, updated and upgraded. Please be patient as we try to crank out and complete these bios as quickly as we can while more and more heroes and villains show up with each issue!

        News Brief

-8/3/05: Four and a half years later.. Holy Moses, it's been a while! I've obviously stopped work on this site, though if there was enough interest out there I could look into getting it going again, though my programming skills aren't up to par with the rest of the Internet world out there. Please contact me if you'd like to see this site updated again. Otherwise, right now I'm seriously considering purchasing a domain and more space for the purpose of posting videos/short films I've edited, an e-comic I'm trying to get off the ground (as a hobby), and maybe more...
-2/6/01: Yeah... I'm a loser when it comes to updates. Sue me.
I've got a TON of my comics, including several JLA comics, up for grabs in the message forum at Fanzing.com.
-9/29: Sorry for the delay in an update. Today we added a bio for The Atom! Please e-mail
Mark Gillins if you would like to contribute in any way to the site.
        - 8/31: Added bio for The Janissary, updated bio for Batman and adjusted the menus
in all the bios due to his expulsion from the team (we miss you, Batman!).
        - 8/29: We're back online! Use the drop menu above to begin navigation.
