Hongkong artists seldom go out for night activites at earlier time due to SARS outbreak, however the SARS seemed to be under controlled in Hongkong recently, artists start the activities again. Last night, celebrating a DJ's birthday, Xiaotung, Andy Hui, Edmund Leong, Hins, Wang Jie and etc went to karaoke to sing until 2am.

Reporters asked Edmund and Liu Hao Long, "You all come to sing Karaoke, do not scare of SARS?", when they reached the place, Edmund answered, "No, we do take precautious." However, Edmund, Andy and Wang Jie wore face mask when they left the place.

Wang Jie is a rare visitor to Karaoke, surprisingly he was there with those young singers to sing Karaoke together, and he was the one who reached there ealiest, wonder is they are too hunger to sing Karaoke, Xiaotung, Edmund, and Hins keep holding the mic and sing, while Wang Jie was only sitting there to chat with friends, drink and listening to their singing. Besides singing Karaoke, Xiaotung, Edmund, Andy, and Wang Jie keep drinking beer with each other and also the birthday star, they finally made the birthday star drunk in the end. Everyone of them drank until their face turn red, but they were not drunk. Reporter asked Andy is he drunk? He answered, "Yes, yes, yes."

Due to the cancellation of his job because of SARS, he can spare his time to attend Beyond's concert, he enjoyed the concert very much although he has been standing all the night. Recently he was being reported he is planning to sign contract with Taiwan Universal, to replace Jacky to become the top artiste in Taiwan Universal, and to avoid the Deputy Director of Hongkong Universal, Chen Shao Bao, Xiaotung said, "Jacky is a treasure in music industry, it's normal that he is being popular among the record companies, if I can work in the same company with him, I will feel very happy. Being top or not is not a problem, I will rather choose good songs (hao ge) rather than become the top artiste (yi ge)".

So is Xiaotung avoiding Chen Shao Bao? he emphasized that everyone in Universal Music are his friends, and he will talk to Chen Shao Bao when he meets him. As for where will Xiaotung be going? His manager Kawai said, "The contract is almost done, but cannot be announce yet. (Main target on market in Taiwan?) All places where Chinese living are important."

Ever since xiaotung's completion of his contract with Universal Music, there have been little news of what he is planning to do next. However, it has been heard that he hasn't been on good terms with Deputy Director of Hongkong universal, Chen Shao Bao since earlier and perhaps it is the reason why he chose not continue with the contract. News of him wanting to join taiwan universal has been rumoured though.

He has not revealed the company which he is planning to join but as we know, there has been several companies alreadi offering contracts to him since last year. And his manager Kawai have been discussing the contracts with the record companies ever since Xiaotung finished filming 'Qian Nu You Hun' last month.
