Age: 16 AKA: Tenken no Soujiro Fighting Technique: Tenken About Soujiro: Soujiro is the right hand of Shishio and the strongest of the Juppongatana. His past is very interesting (my favorite character). He seems to be always happy, keeping that joyful smile under all circumstances and this leaves his opponents clueless of his movements in battle. When he was young, he lived with his foster family and they treated him terribly. They would always make him do jobs would seem impossible at his young age and beat him if he fails to do so. They also blame him for mistakes he didn't do. When he would cry, they only hurt him more so he started to smile which made them confused and leave him alone. This was the reason why joy seems to be his only emotion. He has somehow overcome his other emotions like anger and fear. On his first encounter with Shishio, he witnessed Shishio kill policemen. Shishio saw him and decided to kill him, but Soujiro smiled and this made Shishio confused. He asked if death would make him happy. Shishio said that he would let him live if Soujiro would give him bandages and food. Soujiro took Shishio to the rice warehouse of his foster family and Shishio decided to stay there. Soujiro explained why he was always smiling, and Shishio knowing how Soujiro is being treated by his foster family, handed him a short sword and said that the world is survival of the strongest. Upon recieving the sword, Soujiro hid it. His foster mother got curious because the bandages had disappeared and realized that it was Soujiro's fault. Because of the news spread of the murder of the policemen by an assasin who was burnt, his foster family concluded that Soujiro is keeping the assasin decided to kill him. They beat Soujiro but he remembered the sword Shishio game him. He ran for the warehouse, took the sword and killed everyone. From there on, he decided to follow Shishio and the words "The strong lives, weak die" became the code he lives by. Soujiro is called Tenken no Soujiro (the heavenly sword) by the Juppongatana because his sword skills are in-born. He is so fast with his shuku-chi even Kenshin can't compare with it.

Name Description Shuku-Chi (Reduced Earth) Speed that surpasses "God speed", what Kenshin normally uses. Soujirou does this in steps, meaning the lower number of steps away he is, the faster he is going. When he is doing it completely, he can't be seen, neither can his attacks. When using the technique, the "Earth" between two opponents shrinks, meaning they get closer together really fast, hence the name. Shun Ten Setsu (Instant Heaven Kill) He used his increible speed to perform a sword drawing technique, which he used last against Kenshin. Of course it was no match against Kenshin's Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki. But if he didn't expose his emotions, who knows what would've happened =)
