'Special' party favors

Last night, I went to one of my previous co-worker's b-day party at a lounge in Manhattan. It was fun...tbough the place was crowded with her friends and a large group of others...and it was stuffy, since there were so many people...and we couldn't get more drinks, because the volume of people filled up the famed 18 foot bar. (18 feet is still not long enough.... ^^;) I met some of my co-worker's friends, as well as finally met her significant other...whom she talks about significantly ever since I've known her. ^-^ He is cute...though I can't really tell what else since it was so dark in there. ^^;

There were two/three different party favors for the guests: those with red ribbons and those with blue or purple ribbons. I supposely got a 'special' one.... It was cute, the box was really a chinese takeout carton (usually used to hold rice) tied with a red bow. Inside were some various kinds of candy and a shot of Aboslut Vodka. (I got the opaque one with yellow words...though I don't know how I can drink it. ^^; P-chan, do you want it?) The last object in my party favor bag is certainly very special...so special that I can't type it out online for fear that my church friends will mention this to my mother. ^^; I'll let you guys know...just not online. It's no big deal, just embarrassing. You can probably guess it anyway. ^-^

In either case, she put alot of thought into these party favors and I had fun conversing. Mostly, I just sat there and took in the atmosphere...a rare moment at a bar on a saturday night. *takes a swig of imaginary cigarette...blows* lol My current co-worker came with me to keep me company. I probably bored the hell out of him...but it really couldn't be helped. The experience was enough and as much of my decisions, I don't regret going. ^-^

One last thing

Oh yeah, I walked from 1st Ave to 7th Ave at 1am in the morning because it was so early and there were no buses around. I didn't take the taxi because I couln't convince myself to do so and I walked that far with HEELS on my feet. *ouch* Yes, you can start laughing and continue on until my next entry. I give you full permission to mock my momentary insanity. ^^; As said, it was a very interesting evening.

Today, Saturday...

I went out with my previous co-worker tonight to celebrate her 'halfway-through-her-accelerated-social-work-masters-program' at Colombia. ^-^ We ended the evening at a bar playing arcade games...like matching tiles and word games. I'm really bad at those...though it was still fun. ^^;

On saturday, I'll be attending the same co-worker's b-day party in Manhattan. It's a late affair and I need to get all dressy. ^^; What will I be wearing? No idea...but it'll be black for sure! ^-^;

...and Everyday (cosplay)

I've been working on my Asuca cosplay practically every night, adding details with pencil. There is a few more detailing needed, but this is just extra to perfect this cosplay. I already super-glued the hair pieces and bought hairspray (today) and other various makeup products to add the finishing touches to my cosplay. ^-^ I'm also working on my Chun Hyang spear. I bought fur to add to the base of the spearhead and I need to buy another length of blue cloth. I'm still not totally satisfied with the condition of the skirt, but it'll have to do. (As said, I may redo this entire cosplay in the future. ^^;) My earrings are being redone since I commissioned one of my co-workers to make them for me. ^-^ I have two co-workers that make jewelery as a hobby. One specializes in earrings, the other necklaces. If I have any difficult cosplay jewelery in the future, I'll be sure to have them make it. ^.^

'What's in a name?' *warning-rant ahead*

Some people are so dense. Someone in my church just recently realized my e-mail addie was 'silentdeath'. He proceeded to lecture me about how I was 'too self-absorbed' (his words were 'I love myself too much') and that it turned into 'caring too much about my image' and resulted in 'depression.' He wants me to change my e-mail addie since I should 'get out of myself' and 'think of others'. What kind of bs is that? For the record, I got that e-mail about two years ago. It's true that my e-mail reflects my person and I really like the name. (Hence, adding dots and an 's' so that I could use it. ^-^) My question is...why in the world does it need to take an e-mail to make him think, 'I have a problem'? It is no secret in my church that yes, 'I have a problem.' Though it's not something people address anymore since it's none of their business and I seem to be exuding an aura of 'I'm okay'. It shouldn't matter what my e-mail addie is. I see him once or twice a week, known him for over an year and a half...and now he thinks I have 'a problem'. It was all I could to stop myself from calling him an idiot. Baka!

His concern has nothing to do with my anger. It's his inability to see beyond his closemindedness. I joked around saying it was a name I really liked and it was something I thought really hard about. (Heck, I remember taking 3hrs. thinking up that name. ^^;) But he wouldn't listen and stuck to his theory. *headdesk* I love myself too much...when in the world did that happen? I even asked my mother about that and she responded that I hardly take care of myself (sleep and eat well) so over-loving myself is not really a good description. ^^; His theory is caring more for other people and I'll stop being depressed. Yup, if the entire world followed his theory, we won't have any wars and humankind would be alot more pleasant.

closing arguments

Let me state this for the record: I don't pity myself. I'm just extremely bitter and pissed at the state of this world. Caring for myself has nothing to do with how I feel. It's also not going to change how I view this world. Can the stupid people stop trying to dissect me and claim that they 'understand completely' how and why I am this way? It'll help alot in squishing my longing to smack some of them upside the head. >.<

The road is long and wide...

...and I was driving it! ^-^ Yup, after two years living in LI, I finally drove a span of it. O.O Surprised? I drove from church back to my place, 15 minutes. Not bad, ne? *laughs* Yeah, it's pretty short and nothing to be proud of, but I'm just happy to be driving...even a little. ^^; That's not all! *gasp* I drove...ALONE. *double gasp* Yup! It was around 8:30pm...so it was already kinda dark. The car was the toyota corolla...still not too fond of it, but it handles so much better than the clunky lincoln. ^^; Okay, I'll go back to my gloating now....

one last thing...

Been busy: preparing for my cosplay, preparing for the convention, working my butt off and watching 'Princess Princess'. Found out, one of the main characters is voiced by Romi Paku...Edward Elric's voice actress. ^-^ No wonder he sound so familiar. At first I thought it was Megumi Ogata (Kurama's VA,) but then, if I heard her voice, I would know for sure. Kurama...kawaii! ^.^ Both Romi-san and Megumi-san are ultra cute with their deep voice.... *happy sigh*

Closing doors

I have officially finished Kingdom Hearts. 0.0 Lessee...I started playing after I graduated...which means my gameplay lasted 2 years. O.O This was my first RPG and as mentioned before, I wanted to complete everything. ^-^; Oh yeah, the last Typhoon blueprint turns out to be between Monstro and Halloween Town. I still don't know which ship it was and why I didn't kill it earlier.... ^^;

The last bosses was easy (compared with Sephiroth and the Phantom) and I really like the ending sequences. Just that...why does Riku and King Mickey have to be on the other side of the door?!? *cries* It's like the FMA movie...separated by the gates.... (I won't say much more about the movie in case some of yous decide to watch it when it comes out on theaters and DVD in early September. ^-^ I sound like a commercial....) I got super sad after watching that...since Riku and Mickey are stuck there fighting the heartless. Also, Kairi and Sora was also separated.... *double sniff* -.-

'Another side, another story' is awesome. I love blindfolded Riku and his two keyblades. He looks so cool.... Of course, the CG is beyond amazing..... I'm wondering though...was that the secret ending or was it about Pluto and the king's letter? Was 'Another Side, Another Story' always there? Hm....anyway, I'm not that eager to play KHII...since I have two other games I want to hit first, FFX-2 and FMA2. I'm most likely going to play FMA2 first...since it's FMA...though I would need to buy the stragedy guide. *checks savings* I may play Chain of Memories again...just for the heck of it. ^-^ I started playing it before, but it got deleted since I had to format my computer due to viruses.... Don't ask.... >.<; At this rate, I'll play KH2 in a couple of years...hopefully. ^^;

CLAMP School series

I bought 'Man of Many Faces' at AnimeNEXT this year. I loved the manga so much that I decided to buy the other manga from the same universe. CLAMP came out with 3 other sets (besides '20 Faces':) 'CLAMP School Detectives', 'CLAMP School Defenders: Dukylon' and 'CLAMP School Paranormal Investigators'. The 'Paranormal Investigators' turns out to be novels...like the Fullmetal Alchemist novel series that started with 'The Land of Sand'. I finished reading the 'Defender' and 'Detective' series...and I love them all. ^.^ Only CLAMP can pull off such insane antics and make it acceptable to readers. ^-^ I'm thinking about saving the CLAMP novels for Otakon convention...so I won't read them too fast. ^^; I hear there are other CLAMP novels...Magic Knight Rayearth and stuff. If it's in English I'll definitely be buying them. ^-^

Presentiment

I just found out last night that one of my fav. yaoi mangas, 'Presentiment' was created by Makoto Tateno, the mangaka that is coming to Otakon this year. O.O *fangirl squeal* Thanks so much, Pearl-chan! I read this manga a long time ago, one of the first yaoi mangas that isn't a dojinshi...of course, I completely forgot the author. ^^; When Pearl-chan and I was going through some of the other stuff Tateno-sensei has made, I stumbled across 'Presentiment'. Hopefully, I'll find the Japanese version at Book Off and have Tateno-sensei sign it.

I'll be heading to Book Off on monday (since today is my day off. ^-^) I'll be buying 'Presentiment' and something written by Kouta Hirano, the other mangaka appearing at Otakon. ^.^

mini-rant

It's not definite, but my father is most likely not coming back for Otakon. He has to handle a business thing since someone is going to his area at the end of this month.... >.< I'm pissed off since Otakon has been planned since...I dunno...last year? At least early this year I had everything booked: date and time all set out. I know it's selfish for me to think that my anime hobby is more important than his business...but.... *sighs* He knew when Otakon is. He could have told his (freakin') friend to come sooner...or later. He is apologetic and regretful, but I'm just pissed off. There is no problem for a ride since o-kaa-san can drive. (No, I'm not driving since I hate driving.)

However, another issue is that o-kaa-san needs a new car adapter for her oxygen machine. Why couldn't she have handled this before?!? It's like the last half of the month and now she brings it up. (Yes, she brought up the issue before, but why in the world didn't she do something about it until now?) This is where I wish that I could go to the con by myself so I don't have to deal with ppl.... *sigh* I'm also disappointed in myself for not having the guts to drive long distances. *smacks head*

CD arrived!

I got Vic's cd, 'Selah' yesterday! *dances* I already loaded the songs into my mp3 player.... It's his piano compilation cd...so beautiful.... *sighs happily* My fav. pieces at the moment are 'The Water's Edge' and 'Here I Am.' Some pieces are based on exisiting praise songs, like 'Here I Am', 'Imagine', 'Heart of Woship' and 'Holy, Holy, Holy'. All the pieces he composed himself, the exisiting pieces keepying to the main melody. Unfortunately, he is not going to Otakon this year. However, I hope I'll be able to see him play piano again. ^.^

If you mix DBZ, Sailor Moon and Chemical X together....

...you get Powerpuff Girl Z, the latest anime from Japan! ^-^ The entire cast from the original is here...though the girls are in junior high and the Professor has a son. Apparantly, the got their superpowers by eating a rice cake shot with chemical Z.... ^^; Hilarity and laughter ensues...though not everyone is happy. Of course, wank follows close behind.... 'You ruined my childhood' (though PPG only came out 7 years ago,) and 'I'm getting seizures from the transformations', and 'Mojo doesn't rant' fill the comments.... (paraphrasing. ^-^)

Here is promo subbed episode on youtube clips.... I like the transformation sequences...though I never saw anything more complicated. Also, instead of a telephone calling the girls into action, we have a really cute dog.... ^.^ Mojo Jojo doesn't talk as much as his NA counterpart, but he ends his sentences in 'mojo'. ^^; And...you still don't see Ms. Bellum's face. ^-^ The kawaii factor and seeing them wield bubbles, yo-yo and a large hammer (also Mojo stuffing kids in a large cage) makes for an awesome kids anime...right up next to Doreimi and Snow Fairy Sugar. ^.^

Marching penguins....

Friday movie was awesome. I love penguins...although I cringe at the scenes with dying...especially at the eggs cracking on the ice. *cringe* The baby penguins are so cute and you can just hear the entire crowd go 'awww'. ^-^ Some of my previous conceptions on penguins were proven wrong...mainly my idea that 'Penguins mate for life...like eagles'. Turns out that penguins are very loyal...but they don't mate for life...they mate yearly. ^^; Of course, they're loyalty still spans far above human ideals. I was telling my co-workers that the guys/abusers could learn from the penguins.... The males hatch the young and are the first to care for them. ^-^

I totally want a penguin as a pet...though I would need two of them (to keep each other company...) and about an acre of ice for them to live on.... ^^;

BBQ, beach and Superman

Saturday, I went to the annual church BBQ. It was okay...nothing major happened. I was kinda tired since I got home around 2pm friday night (after the movie,) so I didn't eat that much. What I ate was good though. (Yummy...hotdogs.... ^-^) Than, we all headed to the nearby beach and they proceeded to dunk each other in water. Me? I stayed nice and dry on the shore and slept under an umbrella on the sands. -.-Zzz

We stopped by my house to regroup, then headed over to the movie theaters to watch 'Superman.' It was interesting...nothing too extremely corny, and the kid kissing Superman...was adorable. ^.^ My fav scene was with the kid and a bad guy playing piano.... Of course, there was this other scene with the same kid and bad guy and piano that I totally love...though I won't say what happened. (No spoilers from me! ^-^) One of my church friends saw the original 'Superman' movies and remarked that they kept some original lines like 'Smoking is bad for you, Ms. Lane....' among others. I guess they wanted to keep it 'original'...and keep the image of Superman standing against 'No smoking.' ^.^ Though some of us remarked that Clark Kent should have been acting more 'stupid'...though I think he is sad enough as is. ^^; Ending was alright...good movie overal. Now...should I go see 'Pirates...' movie? *thinks*

We ended the day with steak dinner (yummy prime rib) and ice cream cake since it was my friend's b-day (friday.) The dinner convo ranged from many topics...finally settling on 'sleeping experiences'...though it's not how it sounds. Basically, we shared our 'sleeping' habits: snoring, grinding of teeth, talking in our sleep, dancing, exercising...kicking.... (Yes, Jenn-chan, I shared our story. ^^;) We talked/ate for 2hrs. and left the restaurant at 11pm. O.O Of course, we got home and slept like a log...at 2am in the morning. ^^;

Candidate for Goddess

Long, long time ago, P-chan and I went to an anime festival at Stony. They showed alot of dubbed anime, two I remember to be Mezzo Forte and the other Pilot Candidate. I really like Pilot Candidate. It reminded me of Evangelion since it's about mechas, pilots, 'liquid' cockpits and syncing with the mechas. Japanese translation, Candidate for Goddess had candidates training to pilot Goddesses or Ingrids. They have to work with repairers in order to operate their mechas. (If this sounds familiar, I took this idea and used it in my one and only sci-fi story, the first I uploaded to this site. ^-^) After many years of waiting, I finally got the 12 episodes of the series. I finished watching it today...though I'm sad to say, it's really unfinished. It's kind of like Flame of Recca, a complete series without an ending. >.<; Even though it's certain that the main character, Zero Enna will become a pilot of the white ingrid (as shown in the opening sequence,) but you don't know who are the other 4 pilots chose...and what happens to them. Also, you don't know about Zero's past, Victims (the attacking bad guys,) and the secret of GOA (the floating academy they're on.) *sigh* The series came out in 2000 (I think I saw this in early 2001,) and there is no continuation...yet. I'm hoping they'll continue...but they made a very apparent ending with the different ending song then the rest of the series as well as the last pic of Zero and his rival, Hiead. Oh well...at least the opening sequences show Zero with the white Ingrid just the way he wanted...with Kizuna as his repairer. ^.^

One unexpected twist in this short series was a shonen ai relationship...though it's not very vocal. ^.^ That made my yaoi side very happy...although the resulting relationship didn't turn out so hot.... (The two guys couldn't be together.... *sigh*) Regardless, I'm glad to be able to watch a series that I basically started couple years back.... P-chan do you want to watch it too?

Something I also realized...the main chracter Zero looks alot like Niwa Daisuke from DNAngel...especially when you get really close to him.... Turns out both series is created by Yukiru Sugisaki. Sou deska.... ^.^ ALSO, Hiead's repairer, Ikuni's voice actress is Rie Kugimiya...who laters become the VA for Alphonse Elric, FMA. ^-^ There are alot more VAs that play my fav. characters (they have a really good VA cast...) but to name them all would be pointless. I'll just leave it like this. ^.^

As all series, there is something they always say.... 'Those with wings, fly to your dreams.'

KND: Death Wank

Internet deaths or 'dyings' are not uncommon in any fandom...since it seems to be one of the quickest ways to get sympathy, fame and instant friends. Of course, you need a couple of 'sockpuppets' (self created online lackeys) to do a running report on your progress.... I won't say much about it...'cause I'm laughing too hard. ^^; Just check this out over at Fandom Wank. I'll say this much...I can't believe this happened in the KND fandom. O.o This is almost as bad as the online hentai RPG incident.... ^^; Or maybe it's worse....

Penguins galore!

Not yet...I'm going to see 'March of the Penguins' tonight with some of my co-workers. ^-^ I never saw the movie before and I totally love penguins. Ultra kawaii! ^.^ It's a FREE movie (yay for inexpensive entertainment, ^-^) outside with chairs and stuff. I've never been to outside showings before, so this'll be an fun. ^-^

Hiring: Photographer

As you know, I've been wanting to have cosplay pics taken at my friend's labortory complex. Unfortunately, some plans fell through because of time constraints and travel problems. ^^; I understand it's not easy for anyone to travel long distances and then spend several hours taking pics. So...I'm going to hire a photographer. Info below:

Requirements: Must live in NY metro area. Photography experience with scenery, head, full body and 3/4 shots. Clear results (unless blurring is an effect.) Imagination needed for posing and picture style.

Photoshoot info: Various outside locations. Camera can be provided or you can use your own. (No cellphone cams! >.<) Upon end of shoot, copies of pics must be given to me via computer or film. (I'll give you copies once I develope the film.) Credit will be given to you as photographer. ^.^

Semi-updates....

I finally updated the veracity page aka. 'about me' page. There aren't that many changes, but as all humans do, there are some subtle differences that I feel must be made. (Like...I'm not joining the army anymore.... ^-^)

The only MAJOR change on my site would be the location of my hidden cosplay link. *laughs maniacally* Actually...the hint for the link is easier than before. Same page, just different word. If you knew where the link was before, it's in the same area.... ^.^ Yeah, I like to torture you guys.... If you can't find it...just drop me an e-line.... ^-^

Clamp School Chaos!

CLAMP, mistresses of crossovers within their own series came out with several small sets of stories that take place in the 'Clamp School' universe. The hilarity that ensues also include lots of references to other universes. ('RG Veda' sword...'NewType' museum.... ^-^) I bought 'Man of Many Faces' at AnimeNext....loved the story so much, ordered the other Clamp school books. ^-^

8 books in total...Clamp School Detectives (1-3,) Clamp School Defenders (1-2) and Clamp School Paranormal Investigators (1-3). I'm waiting for confirmations from several sellers to make sure they didn't sell the books already...I hope not. ^^;

Vic's CD, 'Selah'

I'm on a shopping spree.... ^^; In order to order the CD, I had to e-mail Vic Mignogna directly. O.O And he responded! *fangirl squeal* I sent him payment through paypal and he will send me the CD. ^.^ 'Selah' is his piano compliation CD that he suggested that I purchase since I also play piano. *happy sigh* He plays piano so well, I can't wait to hear his compositions. ^-^

Sora wins against Sephiroth!

I beat Sephiroth! *victory dance* It took 3 tries at lvl 100 with 96 atk. O.O Yes I waited that long.... (I must say my hardest bosses were the Ice Titan and the Clocktower Phantom...both battles took a LONG time. Sephiroth was very hard too...and I hear he's even harder in KHII. ^^;) I had to use elixers and curaga. I used sonic and arc attacks, but I mostly jumped and hit him as many times as I could when he gets close. I was only able to 'avoid' Sin Harvest once. He seems to keep saying the attack behind me and off screen...and trying to run/glide to him takes some manuvering. But I did it! ^.^V

Now...where is the ship?

Optional bosses all dead.... I'm all set to finish the game...except I have to get the last blueprint, 'Typhoon'. According to an online guide, it's an enemy ship that is only found between Agrabah and Monstro/Halloween Town. I flew between the worlds at least 10 times...killed everything I saw and still no blueprint. >.< It's not important, but I want to complete the gummi blueprint collection before I complete the game. ^^; Oh well...ganbatte! ^-^

lame attempt...but at least something new

I uploaded a story in the vice section titled 'Unforgiven'. As the warning goes, the story is extremely angsty with a large dosage of depression. O.O If you are thinking what I think you're thinking...than you are probably correct. (That statement in itself is pretty confusing.... ^^;) This piece is a very short story, mostly incomplete in many ways. I didn't enjoy writing it (though I don't write much in general these days) but it's something I feel must be written. I plan to do a follow up piece to sort of round out the story...but I don't know if I'll actually do this. (This was hard enough.... If you check out the date, I actually started writing it in September '05 and now just edit and uploaded it. ^^;)

On a side note, I'm thinking about going through my stories and uploading some old ones. Even if I lost my inspiration for writing, I did enjoy writing once, regardless of the quality of my work. ^-^; I'll think about it and keep you posted. Until then, oyasumi!

Flexday Farewells

Hm...I seem to be going in for lame subjects.... ^^;

Anyway, I was suppose to not be at the office today...but ended up going there anyway. My co-worker's last day was today so we (ppl at the office) ate lunch together. I stayed around at the office since we have cake and we presented her with the usual farewell t-shirt (that I hand designed. ^^;) Afterwards, we went around the city, stopping by Forever 21 for some needed shopping time. I picked up two shirts...both black, but unique styles. (As my co-worker insisted, 'To give some umpth to your wardrobe.' ^-^) I came home around the same time I usually come home when I go to work, but it was all fun today.

Tomorrow, one of my ex-co-workers is having a bbq at her place and invited us to go. So...I'll be wearing one of my new shirts to the bbq. ^-^ As some of my friends from the office mentioned...I hardly ever go out with them...so being able to hang out with them is pretty cool. ^.^

Cirque du Cosplay

I mentioned in my AN '06 convention report that an Utena cosplay group won 'Best in Show'. I was contemplating whether or not they were the same group that won last year (also 'Best in Show' at AN.) Turns out...it was. O.O The group, (I'm assuming it's the same since they hold the same name...) 'Cirque Du Cosplay''s skit was named 'Gothic Lolita Bibles' and featured EGLs, an EGA and a punk that turns EGL. Beauty wins overall. ^.^ Of course, I found a youtube clip.

Totoro vs. Totoro

My Disney/Ghibli dvds arrived yesterday: 'My Neighbor Totoro' and 'Whisper of the Heart'. I watched Totoro in English (but with Japanese translation subs) so I can see/hear how it is. Translations are good overall.... When the subject is questionable, the lines are changed. (Though I don't know why they would make one of the lines even worse. Example: Satsuki's line, "What if she is already dead?" O.O Not exact line...paraphrase.) Obviously, the 'dustbunnies' and 'poking out their eyes' bit was changed, as well as some minor curses, k'so. The 'taking off the shoes' thing was explained in English with an added line and 'ikutekimas' (spoken line before eating) was changed to 'Mark, set, go!' (English) and 'It looks delicious!' (Japanese sub.)

Although the translations were even worse, I suppose I prefer the Fox version of VAs since I heard them first. The Disney VAs for Satsuki and Mei had deeper voices instead of the lighter, cuter ones of their Fox counterparts. (Disney's Totoro was also dubbed with a gruffer tone and the Cat-bus meowed more. ^-^) The VAs for the mother and grandmother were perfect (In My Opinion) and the father was very acceptable. The sisters' voices were not cute enough...or too mature in a sense (also IMO.) What I liked about the reasons made for choosing the voices was that the VAs were in actuality sisters. That kind of choice is very smart and helps alot in their performance. My fav. part of the sisters' VAs' was their screams throughout the movie...they had the right pitch and sound that resonated through. ^.^

I may or may not watch 'Whisper of the Heart' tonight...more likely not. I'm busy with other stuff...more info about those stuff probably throughout the weekend. ^-^

kites and fireworks

Here's the rundown of yesterday: car (during the thunderstorm we gazed at nature's 'fireworks', ^^;) parking lot (yelled at the baka that was suppose to sell tickets but didn't and told us to go somewhere else...but we didn't, ^^;) beach (set up tent-chairs-blankets-umbrella-kites,) beach part 2 (we ate alot, ^-^) beach part 3 (all 3 kites were stable and in the air, ^.^) waiting for sunset (bathroom break, packed up chairs-kites-garbage,) night (fireworks. *_*) It was nice...traffic on the way there and back, but with all the food we had, we were happy. ^.^ Many kids were drawn to the kites and I shared my fun. I'm just nice like that. ^^;

Nothing much else, I'm just achy due to carrying all that yummy food to and from the beach. (There was so much that we couldn't finish everything. ^^;) No sick days for me...I have to go to court everyday. I'm achy...which means I need to exercise more. *starts doing push ups*

Gomen for disappearing on you guys (Pearl and P-chan) yesterday...my cell went dead after awhile. ^^; I wonder what you guys are doing today? Me? My church friends called me out to the beach. They'll come and pick me up at 2pm...so I still have some time. We're going to picnic at the beach and then watch the fireworks at night. I should be happy...right? I guess I am..... Before I get too confusing, I'm going to be resting up. I'll give you guys a call later on...but for now, I'm taking a nap. ^^; It's my day off from work and I need my sleep. Oyasumi! -.-Z

Xenosaga I: Uncensored

You won't know what I'm typing about if you haven't played/seen the game. ^^;

In Xenosaga I, there is this scene where MOMO meets Albedo.... Turns out the NA version was censored. Not surprised, the NA version was disturbing enough...with him breaking off his arm...then head. O.o In the original Japanese, Albedo pulls out a knife and cuts off his arm...then head. >.<; Blood and gore.... My godsister informed me that the original Japanese had 2hrs. more worth of cutscenes then the NA version.... Disgusting and disturbing as it is, I want to see the original...blood and everything. ^-^; (Oh yeah, the Kirshwasser's arm fell off in the NA version.... Albedo rips off her arm in the Japanese version.... ^^;)

Xenosaga III: Spoiler Trailer

I'm totally excited about the new Xenosaga game...the 3rd and last. *happy sigh* I found this trailer which has the most spoilers I have ever seen.... There were small hints that show the identity of the Red Testament...as well as the White Testament in both Xenosaga I and II. But you never really know for sure. But in this trailer, you can see who they are! O.O Also, the girl URTV from Xenosaga II is also there.... That is all I can figure out..but knowing who the Red and White Testament is is already a really big spoiler for a trailer. ^-^;

Phone problem: resolved

I went to the Sprint store to get my cell activation thing resolved. Turns out...there was nothing wrong with the activation or the ESN.... O.O What was the issue? The programing. My activation was already under my name...so that's why it didn't work the second time. >.< Why in the world couldn't the customer service person figured that out yesterday?!? *headdesk* So the guy at the Sprint store progrmmed my phone so now it works perfectly. I gave it to o-kaa-san which made her really happy. (Brownie points for me....) My feelings toward sprint are nonchalant...I'm just glad I didn't have to beat anyone up.... (Or maybe I'm not too glad about that.... ^^;)
