This kimono is a wonderful furisode kimono. The base color is pale baby blue, and there are ornamental areas adorned with flowers, leaves, mock shibori sections, and abstract explosions of energy. The back of this furisode is in perfect condition. The condition of the front of the garment is not as good. There are several stained areas, which are visible in some of the photos linked to from this page. However, on the whole, this furisode is breathtaking, and would certainly look majestic hanging on a wall, perhaps in an entryway to your home or room. This is one furisode kimono that makes a grand statement!
