Here's a sensational furisode kimono with breathtaking embroidery. This furisode kimono has a base color of creamy ivory, and has wonderful embroidered areas of satiny flowers, leaves, and festival wagons (matsuri no kuruma, in Japanese). Some of the many colors include sunset orange, rosy pink, glistening gold, and soft peach. The lining is a creamy antique white color, and has a border that fades into a rosy pink. There are a few small areas of discoloration, as shown in pictures 5, 8 and 9, but the overall quality of this special furisode is very good. Quite a lovely piece!
