LATEST NEWS July 2003 : The Kingston Mummies are, for the time at least, disbanded : the team is very much dispersed - Sally has finished her University Degree and is now out in the Big Wide World, earning an honest living; Helan has moved, with her family, away from the area, as has Pat, and the rest of us are just too busy running things for the younger teams to actually have time to get into a boat ourselves!! If you have been at any of the Hull Internationals you will have met us all, scuttling around the dock side ensuring that all runs smoothly for you younger paddlers - and you know you really couldn't manage without us! But we keep on promising ourselves .... next season ..... or maybe the season after that ..... ? June
2004 .... just a whisper at the moment, and it certainly
won't happen until at least after the Hull
International, but a little bird tells me that there is a possibility
of the Mummies re-forming for next season.
