My web site is dedicated to, two greats of Midget Speedcar Racing - 1/4 Mile Dirt Track. Jackson George
'Snow' Morris and son Trevor Jackson Morris. New
Zealand 'Kiwi's' born and breed. This was the
era, within speedcar racing when a drivers skill was his advantage over his opponent. This was the
era when people
couldn't understand the need for a 'roll bar' on a midget. When as a youngster I remember
the thrill to stand on the infield during a race, at the very edge of the dirt
track - the smell of racing fuel,
the scream of a midget engine - the speed - I still remember the look in their eyes - all only a few feet away.

Here is a collection of photos and information from between 1940's and 1976 speedway
seasons which follows a brief history of Snow and Trevor Morris. The impression they etched on Speedway
fans in New Zealand and overseas as a result of
their racing skills
and accomplishments, along with the respect of local and international drivers has placed Snow and
Trevor Morris in a small elite group of 'New Zealand
Speedway Greats' in history, without a doubt.

If you remember when Trevor Morris drove with the likes of Barry Butterworth,
Ted Tracey, Leo Vercoe, Pat Johnson, Ray Alach or even earlier when
Snow
Morris drove with the likes of Frank Brewer, Reece Discombe,
Ross Goonan, Roly Crowther, Ian Holden or Ron Sutherland - then many
of the photos here will flood
back those memories. If not then sit back
and take a look at a rare period in New Zealand Speedway as it was 'moulded'
by a handful of drivers, into an era that no
longer exists.
