Cheating on assignments and/or on exams is generally limited to only a small percentage of students, however be aware that...

• I have a zero tolerance policy regarding cheating
• Cheating will be dealt with according to MHC Policy (see MHC Calendar - Probation and Dismissal section)
• At the very least, you will receive zero (0) points on the work for which cheating occurred
• The source of the ill gotten gains will also receive zero (0) on the work, if the source can be identified!

It is simple to avoid problems in this area.

• Plan ahead so that you don't run up against deadlines with too much work to do
• Be proactive, request extra time early - if and when you need it. With reasonable arguments, you may receive an extension
• Realize that a lower mark obtained on your own is better than zero if you are caught cheating
• Resist temptation, just do your own work
