| Arthur's
pass is named after its European discoverer, Arthur Dudley Dobson &
connects Canterbury & Westland. It is beautifully scenic. Alpine train
journey stops at Arthur's pass. There are many day-walks in the Arthur's Pass National Park that offer 360 degrees views of the snow-capped peaks. This view is taken at the end of the Temple Basin track which took us 2 hours to track up and 1 hour to track back to our car. |
