A Christmas Special of the resurrected quiz show, screened on Boxing Day 1997, was Lily's debut as a games mistress. The show attracted 8 million viewers and because of this good rating she went on to record two series in 1998 and another was televised in 1999, followed by a Christmas special. more >>

Our first glimpse into Lily's life and family, this six part series was screened on Sunday nights at 10pm and attracted 8 million viewers. The Von Savage Family Singers were re-enacted with Bunty and Jason and there were comedy sketches about TV shows such as 'The Avengers' and 'Blue Peter'. Included a piece of film recently come to life that the BFI went potty over. It was of Lily's grandmother, Erica Von Savage, who was a part of the thriving Birkenhead movie industry in the '20s and '30s and who starred in the masterpiece Shanghai Lil.
