Comic Links
Here's some of my favorite comic book links. I'll add more as I think of them.
- Comics Worth Reading is a review site that has lots of good info on comics that are worth investigating. I especially like that it has info on lots of indie comics and doesn't just focus on the big players.
- Sequential Tart is a monthly web magazine all about comics. It was originally founded as sort of a "women's voice" in the comis world, but you can be a man and read it, too. Sequential Tart covers a large range of topics related to comics, and you can lose a lot of time there if you're not careful.
- The Pulse is a site that has a ton of information on seemingly all aspects of the comics universe. They could probably stand to have fewer articles linked on the main page, though.
- Dark Horse Comics is the company that got me back into reading comics after years of ignoring them. They publish lots of different things, so you might find something you like. Their web site is somewhat lacking in information, though.
- Antarctic Press is an independent comics publisher that puts a lot of manga-inspired works by American artists. They publish Rob Espinosa's works, like The Courageous Princess.
- Oni Press is another successful independent publisher, with a very wide variety of books and styles. They publish Blue Monday.
- Mile High Comics is probably the premier internet comics retailer. This is always the first place I check if I'm looking for a book I can't find locally.
- Lone Star Comics is the second place I check when I can't find a book I want. I've never had any problems with them.
