My idea of showing LISBON / Portugal to you - as a visitor - is always based on a personal relationship between me and you, growing from the moment you arrive. I will not treat you as a client but as a FRIEND. Therefore I will pick you up wherever you arrive and therefore I can stay with you until the end of the day - just as long as with a friend. There is NO HOUR-COUNTING. A day is a day. I will INTRODUCE YOU to my favorite places and sometimes to other friends of mine, just AS A FRIEND. Your stay will be LONG enough to realize Lisbon's tremendous contrast between "very old" and "very new" which creates that special Lisbon "ARTmoSPHERE". Your visit will be SLOW enough to look into the local people's faces. You will travel in TIME. The DAY&NIGHT-life of Lisbon is quickly evolving and no printed guide can ever be really up to date for the day you are here. Therefore I rely on my experience and especially on friends to find out what is the best place to go TODAY and then TONIGHT. YOUR VISIT will include a mix of "ARTrelated" highlights that you would not find without a friend - as well as the important monuments & attractions of Lisbon (in 1-2 days) and surroundings (in 2-4 or more days). *If you wish, I can take care of taking photos so your attention for what you experience will not be effected and you won't feel like a tourist. I will provide you with a photo-CD the following day or send it after you by post. (additional cost) *An additional photographer can be hired to make professional high-resolution pictures. (additional cost) *I can provide you with a mobile phone and/or Portuguese SIM-card, so you can avoid roaming costs in case you need to do or receive phone calls. more themes to come.. I will adjust my service to your wishes. I shall take you around in an air-conditioned mid-class rental car. (rental car and gasoline not included in prices that appear below) The car is necessary to provide the flexibility and comfort, cutting out unnecessary waiting times and it is the only way to avoid the sometimes stressful side effects of a big metropolitan area like Lisbon. I advise strongly to use a car for all the excursions. Many special locations and view-points are not accessible without a car. It is possible to see central Lisbon moving around by public transport but that's a very tiring and much less effective way to do it. Still.. you can always hop on a tram, cable-car or metro for some stops. The tickets are on me! I'll pick you up again wherever you like. Wherever we stop the car to walk around: The parking-cost is on me! If you have a rented car with fully comprehensive insurance: We can use it! Of course that saves you money! I offer the unique possibility to meet you at the car-rental (best at airport) and have my driving license registered within your rental-agreement. That way, I am allowed to show you around in the rental car that you might be using already. "ArtsPace Tours" The concept works only in small groups with a maximum of 4 people, so that's the limit.. If you want me to book/reserve the car for the tour, just let me know. I promise, I will try to get the best deal for you. (The more in advance, the better.) My experience is, that - even booking late - in most cases you get a car for around € 90,- per day but by Internet or via agent you might get a whole week for under € 250,- My Photo Service per day:
