I found at times when my moods were really low that writing poetry was a wonderful outlet. I was able to release the pain from within and put it on paper. Most of these poems were written before I realized that I had to become who I truly was inside. CONFRONTATION

I hate you, I hate you, I wish you were dead
These are your words, I hear inside my head
The shock and the pain that came from your deed
I thought that you loved me, knew of my need
I'm sorry, I'll never be all that you want
I wish that I could be, with all of my heart
To see you could hate me, with so very much pain
I'm sorry I hurt you, it was never my aim
To share all my moments, my fantasies and dreams
To give all my love, the response was your screams
The pain that you felt, came from deep and inside
But the woman I am, I can no longer hide
I'm the one who's loved you, for all these years
I am also the one, who sheds all the tears
Please love me forever, for the person I am
I'm yours for a lifetime, if only you can

BOUND

I look into myself and see
A prisoner waiting, to be free
So please release me , let me be
My mind, my body is not of Lee
Through words and actions I am bound
To my Love, whom I have found
So let us soar to heights above
As I give you all my love
Your looks, your touch, your voice I hear
With you I know, to never fear
In silks and satins, on bended knees
To call me Lori, you'll set me free

DISTANCE

We touch by words, your hands caress
We meet by dark, I can not rest
I long to be, with you each night
For when you speak, I feel so right
You voice your love, with every sound
I know with you, my love is found
Then you touch, or chance a kiss
It's all these things, of love I miss
My heart, my soul, they flutter free
For every night, I know I'll see
Those words you send, that bind me tight
That tie me down, without a fight

The love we share, will always live
The greatest gift, that we can give
I know you now, for who you are
The one who's loved me, from a far

SERVITUDE

To you I look with love in eyes
You voice a wish and up I rise
A look, a touch, a word to tease
For one of those, I try to please
Body and Soul to you I bare
My dreams, my love, my fears, I share
The pleasure and pain of your quick touch
To me it means, so very much
A silent scream within me stirs
Your image I see, through tears it blurs
If I could voice how much you give
For you I Love, for you I live

SHARED

The room is dark, there is no sound
I lay alone, my mind is bound
The one within, she kicks and screams
She's bound inside, of someone's dreams
Then comes the time, that she's set free
To be the one, for all to see
To bow and kneel, on bended knees
To beg to plea, to be set free
The one who makes it, all come true
The one I love, forever you
You smile, you say, I love you so
The tears I shed, must let you know
My love for you, it grows each day
My only wish, is that to stay
To be the one, for you to care
For all our lives, if we could share
The time we spend, goes by so fast
First it's here, now it's past
My soul to you, is always bared
My inner self, to you I share
So let us live, when we're together
For I am yours, for now and ever

I hear my name, I look to see
The one I love, is calling me
So long I yearned, to hear you say

My heart stands still, for just a beat

My heart's a flutter, it jumps about
I lay here bound, I may not shout
You whisper words and then you pause
I feel with love, the pain you cause
A tear that comes, upon it's own
Runs down my cheek, so all alone
But now you're still, I wonder why
Should I jump or should I cry
What must I do, to feel your love
To have your touch, from up above
The bed it moves, I feel you near
You gently whisper, in my ear

SIGNS

You stand alone, no sounds are near
Your heart seems cold, of this I fear
You show no signs of what you feel
Of this I know not, how to deal
At times the sudden coldness grows
You seem content, but nothing shows
With simple signs, of love I've shown
A caress, a touch, a kiss that's blown
Of all these things, I freely give
To receive you love, is why I live
I know at times, I want so much
But all I need, is just a touch
A kiss, a look, the way you show
My love's returned, at last I know

DECISIONS

To find the one, who feels so right
You talked to me , throughout the night
With every word , to you I spoke
My soul I bare, I go for broke
To tell you how, I really feel
To hope and pray, that you are real
I kneel before you, wait to hear

For love is all , I have to give
To make you happy, a will to live
