Item: I lend unto my beloved son, Thomas Kearby, Two Hundred and Twenty Acres of land,
including the houses and plantations whereon I do now live, during his natural life; and after his decease,
I desire that my will is that it should become the full and sole right of my grandson, Charles Kirby.
Item: I give unto my son, Thomas Kearby, one feather bed and furniture, his choice of the other two.

  of Thomas's & Isabella's former daughter-in-law, Melvina.
  Elizabeth's father, Barnabus, is a half-brother to Bill Humfleet,
  who is the father of Melvina's 2nd husband, Jonathan Humfleet.
  (Bill Humfleet married Piety Sasser; the relationship, if any,
  between Piety and Isabella, has not yet been determined.)
