In Memory Of Thomas Alfred Cobb We dedicate the entire Ventner Cobb section of this website to the memory of Thomas Alfred Cobb, who spent 30 years researching his Ventner Cobb lineage. Sources tell us that Thomas would have been overjoyed knowing that much of his work is being shared like this. Before his death, he hired genealogist, Pat Saupe, to help him in his quest. His work was combined with Pat's, plus with the work of James Lee "Jamey" Cobb, III, and now is all being shared with us, for posting to this website. For this priceless sharing, we are exceedingly grateful. Pat and Jamey have requested that we express their gratitude to Tom's entire family branch, for sharing family photos, family stories, lineage info, and more with them, since Tom's death. The Cobb-Sasser Webteam is exceedingly happy to do so! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so VERY much, TOM'S FAMILY, for sharing! Ventner is Thomas's 3-times great-grandfather, and is Jamey's 5-times great-grandfather. Thomas(b:1926) & Jamey(b:1967) are 4th cousins-twice removed. (Jamey is listed on the James Lee Cobb page.) |
