This chart got very confusing for me, but with the kind help of a very dear person, (as a matter of fact, a cousin I found through the internet), I think I have it pretty straight in my head now.  This person is Burt Weston.  I will be forever grateful to him for he is a God-send to me! 

The following is an excerpt from a letter I received from Burt in November of 1997.

      "The 'Lillard History'   is the result of research by a Dewey Lillard of Madison, VA, and given at a   LILLARD Reunion in Madison in 1978."

There is a lot of information on the four original LILLARD brothers in Culpeper, Madison, and Rappahannock Counties in Virginia.
