My main leisure pursuits are:

Cycling
• Walking
In June 2004, I undertook the Welsh 3000 challenge to raise money for the YMCA. Click here for a description of the walk.
In 2005, I accepted the YMCA’s Triple Challenge.
In 2006, Julie, my partner and I, canoed 60 miles down the Wye River to raise money for the YMCA YIPPEE project.
In 2007,  I helped organise a sponsored cycle ride from Redhill to Brussels in aid of the same project. See here.
In 2008, I rode Coast to Coast in North England (pictures here) and later in the summer helped to organise a sponsored ride from Redhill to the Mediterranean Coast, in aid of the YMCA’s Counselling Scheme for young people. See here
