TOURNAMENT REPORTS by the Magüi Maniacs
Ideally, whenever we go to a tourney, we will have a report here. That won't always be the case, cause we are too damned lazy, but I will keep begging and asking everybody to write reports for the site, blackmailing them, etc, so that we can get a few reports out of them! You might wonder, "why doesn't Beatriz write them herself?" well, obviously because I am the webmistress of this place and I do whatever I want! , I do all the hard work for the site, so it's only fair that they write the reports!!
This was the first ever encounter of Magüi Mania. Caz, Stacey and myself (Beatriz) got together to cheer for Arantxa. We ended up being great friends and cheering for Magüi, Conchita and many other players that week.

After a wonderful Roland Garros, Stacey and Caz left to Eastbourne. There they met with Paula and Mel, who were going to become 1/3 of Magüi Mania during Wimbledon.

The true beginning of Magüi Mania. Where we all met for the first time. The turning point was the Mary Pierce vs. Magüi Serna 2nd round match on Centre Court. That day the Maniacs were truly born.

Caz and myself (Beatriz) went to Filderstadt 2000, there we had the chance to make new friends (who we later on met again at Roland Garros 2001 and Wimbledon 2001) and to cheer for all the Spanish girls again, although indoors carpet is *so* not their surface!

There *is* something about Wimbledon. We all met for Wimbledon 2001 and yet again, we had an amazing time, making new friends, seeing some of the old ones and generally having a wonderful time together.
