6th of July, 2004: I found a pic of Magüi and Molik with their Eastbourne trophy! (see below). Not a bad Wimbledon for Magüi, she played quite well, beating Daniliidou 6-4 6-2 in the first round, O'Donoghue 6-3 6-3 in the second round, and losing to Serena Williams in the third round.
Magüi will be competing in the Olympics in Athens this summer, but only in singles. The Spanish team will be: Martinez, Serna, Medina and Sanchez-Lorenzo (singles) and Martinez/Ruano, Sanchez-Vicario/Medina (doubles). Since she has not been selected to take part in the Fed Cup quarterfinal against Belgium this weekend, next up for her should be Stanford, starting the week of the 12 of July.

17th of June, 2004: Not the best of seasons for Magüi, but hopefully the rest of the season will be better. Next up will be Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the year, that starts next week. The draws are available here: singles draw, and doubles draw. Magüi plays Eleni Daniilidou in the first round, best of luck!
