This work, in its general content is not more that a narrative descripition in a neoclassic and impresionist language about the events and acts more important which have come to us, in part as a historical synthesis and also as an oral tradition regarding to the "LLanganates " Legend.

In this way the musical piece treats to inmortalize in its higher degree of sublimity all this bloody struggle and the heroic stoicism of the final ressistance of "Píllaro" and the place of "LLanganates", event which is directely concerning with the monumental figure of the "General Rumiñahui" as a protagonist in the last defense and the decline of the Incas Empire, all this surrounded by the legendary majesty of the "Llanganates", place where some people believe was buried the treasure of the last "Inca Atahualpa" and probably his blessed resting place.

The work developed in different musical pictures of historical sequence is able to induce in a suggestive way to the experience of:

1. A first Theme of the Llanganates and a geographical desciption of the place accompanied with ecuadorian pentaphonic themes.
2. Majesty of the mountains and last vestiges of the Incas Empire.
3. Premonition of the falling of the Incas Empire and the advance of the Sebastián de Benalcazar troops towards the capture of Rumi–ahui.
4. Transportation in the platforms, the heavy loads of the gold treasure.
5. Burial of the treasure.
6. Sacrifice and slaughter of the indians. Final resistance of the last bastion of Píllaro.
7. Sacrifice and death of Rumi–ahui.
8. Pain, distress and desolation.
9. Mestization and birth of a new culture.
10. Final coda and echo of the mountain.
