Here are some of our favorite spots:
Discover a 150-acre marine life park filled with attractions, shows, aquariums, marine life habitats and more. Wild Arctic brings visitors face-to-face with polar bears, beluga whales and walruses. Shamu's Happy Harbor is a tropical-themed play land. Penguins waddle in Penguin Encounter, sharks sneer in Shark Encounter, and dolphins romp at Rocky Point Preserve. Sea World, on San Diego's beautiful Mission Bay, is open daily.
San Diego Zoo
The world-famous San Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park and is home to 800 different species including a pair of rare giant pandas (on long-term loan from the People's Republic of China), in enclosures carefully designed to resemble the animals' natural habitat. The entire Zoo is designed as a 100-acre tropical garden that can be visited on foot and on a special three-mile guided bus tour.

Old Town San Diego
Old Town San Diego is considered the "birthplace" of California, and is home to 37 restaurants, including the best in Mexican and international cuisine.
