My Family

There they are my family. There is my father , Mario (of course it is understood that the surname would be Sarmiento coz he got no other family and so the same principle be applied to the remaining members of this page) a 45 year old man out of Pampanga who is working as an Electrical Technician. Though he is a pronoun referring to male society my dad cooks so good. Actually he is not good, for me he's the best cook the world has ever known. I'm telling it to you guys not because he is my dad but I swear he is really a treat to your chef. 

To the left of my father is my mom. Her name is Myra for short or much known as her screen name. If you care to ask her real name and it would not bother me, she is   Maria Soledad Mirasol. And a lot of people close to us calls her as Ineng. Maybe because many believed that she's one of the most beautiful lady in town during her time... See how lucky my Dad is? 

Have you ever  wondered  how my parents met? My Dad and my Mom met at San Roque, Bauan, Batangas. My father used to work as timekeeper on the late 70's at PNOC (Philippine National Oil Company) at Brgy. Bolo of the same town. They met and then eventually tie their vows on September 17, 1978.

After 9 months, July 5, 1979 to be exact, Marc Owen (hey that's me) was born (in case you don't know and I guess you really  don't know I am like a Strawberry Jam - Made in Baguio). I just feel so sorry coz I lost the hotel receipt which my father paid during their honeymoon in Baguio (probably an evidence that I am made on the Summer Capital of the Philippines) .

Going back to the anatomy of Sarmiento family, at the center court is my sister,  Michelle - born on June 9, 1982. She is currently a second year student taking up Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Lyceum of Batangas. Actually the picture is taken on her debut that's why she's wearing a nice dress in there.

Standing beside me is my sister Mayeth - definitely the youngest of the family for she was born 16 years ago (5 years after my birth). Mayeth who was born on May 1, 1984 (her name came from May) is hopefully graduating this school year at St. Therese College. And she is planning to take up Computer Science in the institution where I spent and is spending my time for five years , Pablo Borbon Memorial Institute of Technology. 

Well that is my family... My everything....the source of light....the reason...

They have something in common or I should say we have something in common (just in case you did not notice).... Think...Think...Think...

One common thing is that all of them call me  as "KUYA" coz probably I'm the only brother in the family. 

How about the other common denominator? Of course we all have Sarmiento as our surname... But if you'll just be a keen observer, you'd notice that we seem to have the M dynasty. All of us have M as the beginning of our name...

Probably...I'll try to continue the dynasty...who knows?
