A few notes:

1. Yes, this is the slash version of an MSR I posted a while ago (Practice Makes Perfect Version A). Why this happened is a long story. Don't ask.
2. Parts of this one are virtually identical to parts of Version A. Yes, I already know this.
3. No, it's not a cop-out <g> Believe it or not, the conversion to slash was a lot harder than I thought it'd be, even using some of the same stuff.
4. No, it's not plagiarism if you rip yourself off <g>

That said, this is my very first slash piece (a genre I swore I'd never write), and was written by someone still very much with a het-fic mind-set, so if I goofed horribly, please tell me nicely :-)

Notes: This story is a huge departure for me. Never, ever thought I'd do a piece like this, declared not so long ago that I was incapable of writing something like this, but then a pal threw out a stray comment that took root in my head and grew. About 4 hours later the details fell into place. I tried to ignore it all, but it started clawing at my brain, so I knew I had to do it. So for what it's worth, here it is.
