He loves me for I am His child,
my patient Father, God.
He walks beside me in my life
and blesses where I trod.


He stands by me and holds me close
and on that final day
He'll calmly point to all my sins
and what my soul must pay.

He waits for me to join him when
my life on Earth is done
He is my Blessed Trinity
Though He is only One.
