Legal and regulated Hemp and Marijuana will revitalize the agriculture and other industries in Alberta. It is the only seed barring  plant that can do so. Over 14,000 products can be made from the Hemp plant. from paper and foods to textiles, oils and fuels. There is no Textile industry in Alberta, because of course the current government likes the color Yellow too much.
 

Most rural communities are selling the family farm to literally supply food clothing and shelter. Yet, Marijuana sells for thousands of dollars per pounds. According to the experts, it only takes four square feet to grow a pound of fine Marijuana. I am not sure how many four square feet are in an acre, but I am sure it is enough to feed the family farm for at least a year at thousands of dollars per pound. And the rest of that section could be put to better uses, like going for walks or raising endangered species. Instead of sucking the farmland dry of everything, with toxic stuff  to slowly go in debt to the machinery companies, banks, and fertilizer plants, until your so broke you have to sell the farm to pay everyone off, when we could be growing hemp.

Hemp, which is the  variety of Marijuana which is grown for fiber and seeds and Cannabis, grow great here in Alberta. The government of Alberta knew way back in the 1930's that it grows good and excellent here.

But of course, this government likes getting on its knees for Ottawa and elsewhere, instead of standing up tall for freedoms and rights for all of Alberta. This government would rather get on its knees for foreign companies with genetic altered grains that no one wants, rather than let farmers prosper growing the healthiest food source there is: The mighty hemp seed.

We are the only party offering real economic diversification and Prosperity to all in Alberta, where those that wish to farm; Can.

A Hemp based Economy in Alberta would only improve the Environment as we would not have to chop down entire forests so others elsewhere can wipe their dirty rear ends. This would also create Jobs, in every section of the agriculture and manufacturing and tourist industries.

Tax incentives for those that wish to use non-polluting technology would be implemented by a Marijuana Party Government. We would listen to and work with those whose concerns and expertise is in conversation.

Clean water,  air, land, forest and those species that live there  are all of our responsibilities.

This is why it is time to elect a government that not only says it cares about agriculture and the environment, but actually does, and has a solid plan to deal with such issues.
