Episode Title: The Avatar Returns

Summary:

Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation comes to the village where Sokka and Katara reside to capture the avatar. Sokka attempts to fight off Zuko, but fails miserably. Zuko threatens to sack the village when Aang returns only to be taken hostage inreluctantly, to save the village. But, Aang's got a plan. He quickly overpowers the FireBenders on board, only to fight the prince himself. He finds himself at a losing situation, only to be saved by Katara and Sokka, riding on Appa. They think they have ousted the FireBenders onboard, but soon after takeoff, Zuko and his uncle, Iroh, try to knock them off with FireBending, but only miss and get their ship buried in the snow. Aang reveals that he is the Avatar, and knows that he, and only he, must stop the FireBenders... but not without a few fun stops along the way.

Notes:

• Aang's avatar power if first initiated here through WaterBending, although he will not learn WaterBending until "The Waterbending Scroll".
