Summary:
On the second of Aang's stops, they travel to the Earth Nation city of Omashu, a bustling metropolis. Way back when, Aang's crazy friend Bumi told him that Omashu's mail cart system is the fastest ride in the world. Of course, Aang wants to ride. They all ride, but soon it goes way to far; they end up crashing into a cabbagemonger's stand. They are arrested and taken to the King. The King invites them to dine with him. Aang reveals he is the Avatar at the feast, so the King makes a wager with him: if he completes several challenges, he will be free to go. But there's a twist: his friends are trapped, meaning that if he fails and/or dies, his friend will be incased in crystal forever. He passes the first two challenges with flying colors: rescuing a key from a waterfall, and taming "Hoppy". But his third challenge is quite hard: fight the king himself. After a few odds and sods, Aang wins, but the King has one more challenge: Aang must reveal the King's name. After a moment of thinking, he decides: the King is Bumi, however whethered. King Bumi says that Aang hasn't changed at all since his freezing, and that he has a mission to complete.
