PICTURES OF THE TOY MADE BY KENNER
This is as close to a model as you'll find of the Mariner's Trimaran. A model was never released, however Kenner did release a toy trimaran in 1995 around the time the movie was released. Their trimaran was designed to be used with the Waterworld action figures also released by Kenner. The Kenner Trimarans and Waterworld toys are difficult to find now, unless you look on eBay.
These are a few pictures of my Kenner Trimaran I've painted and modified to appear more like the real trimaran from the movie. I have added extra rigging, replaced the thick mesh netting with a finer and more realistic netting, and added the counterweight bags the Mariner uses to hoist the sails. The toy originally was brighter and more colorful and looked too much like a toy. That obviously didn't look right, therefore I painted it a more realistic color. The Mariner's trimaran should be a mostly uniform tan and rust color with patches of darker rust and bronze colors, and rust stains.
