REGIONS OF IGATPURI

  This is one of the most challenging regions of the Sahyadris. It has hill forts, the highest peak (KALSUBAI) and many challenges for rock climbing. The country-side is beautiful with plenty of water. 

      The Thal ghat road climbs from Kasara to Igatpuri at night or early in the morning. There are connecting morning buses to BANDARDARA (Wilson dam) or other places in this region.
