Writing a Review
Book Report
"A review is not just an opinion-- it is an educated opinion."

Directions: Write a review based on your novel. The review should contain all the fundamental elements of writing discussed, practiced, and practiced again throughout this year.

Writing a Review

You have learned to analyze a story character by looking closely at his or her actions or words. People who write reviews of movies, books, or restaurants use similar methods. For example, a restaurant reviewer analyzes the quality of the food and service and makes an evaluation. To that end, a well-crafted book review makes an intelligent claim about a novel and backs up that claim with support from the book

At this point in the year, I expect that your writing be substantially better than it was in September. Purge your work of any fragments and/or run-ons, and show me that you are intelligent, witty, and above all, a superb writer. Finally, please remember to be the master of your writing. Show the reader that you are an expert on your book.

Requirements:
Length: 4-5 paragraphs
Point is will be deducted without an outline and rough draft.
