I'd like to dedicate this page to the bestest boyfriend ever, my darling Dave...luv ya, babe!!! *HEE HEE*
This was the first picture taken of us together...in April '96 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada (my hometown!) just a few short weeks after we started dating. I still have this one in a frame beside my bed...*GRIN*
This was one of the first pictures ever taken of Dave and I, way back on April 26, 1996 (just over three weeks after we'd started dating!), and we actually took it ourselves...at arm's length, of course! *GRIN* It's one of my "up-close-and-personal" favourites!
This black and white picture of Dave and I looks kinda neat with a wooden frame around it, doesn't it? *GRIN* We actually got this picture taken during the first week of December 1996, in one of those fun photo booth things in the Metrotown Centre shopping mall in Burnaby, British Columbia. We were getting psyched up for the Vancouver Canucks hockey game we were going to see that night! I really like this pic in particular...there were three other ones on the photo strip, but a couple of 'em looked kinda goofy, so I'm definitely NOT putting them on the site here! *HEE HEE*
Here's a cool picture of Dave and I from Summer '97 when we were visiting my parents in Nanaimo...special thanx to Dad for scanning it in for me, and to my Uncle Ray who took this picture of us in the first place!
As another added bonus, here's a picture of Dave (taken in Summer '97) in his Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary work uniform...he's part of the volunteer rescue crew with the Delta Marine Rescue Society in British Columbia! I just LUV his beautiful smile!
This picture of Dave and I was taken December 12, 1997 at a Christmas party we attended...*GRIN* I really like this one!
Here's Dave and I in one of our "silly moments," mugging behind some cardboard cutout thingys in White Rock, British Columbia, which is about half an hour from Dave's former home base in Tsawwassen (located just outside BC's biggest city, Vancouver). We took a walk along the boardwalk after setting some crab traps in the water, and this is what we got ourselves into?!?! *HEH HEH*
Handsome, eh? *GRIN* This is a picture of Dave all "decked out" (*HEE HEE*...bad pun there, sorry!) in his Coast Guard Auxiliary dress uniform, just before he was heading to the meeting to show it off to the other members of the unit! One of Dave's lifelong dreams is to have a career at sea, and I think this pic goes to show just how incredibly well he'd fit in, don't you???! As of September 1999, he's enrolled in a Deck Officer Cadet program, so is on his way to achieving his career goals...I'm so proud of him!
Here's a nice picture of Dave and I taken at my parents' house, just before going to my office's Xmas party on December 10, 1999! We had a blast, and I was so happy that he was able to meet some of the fantastic people I work with in person, because they're basically like a second family to me...*GRIN*
This kewl picture was taken at a Christmas party Dave and I attended in mid-December, 1999! The setting was perfect, with the elegant Victorian couch and the pretty Christmas tree in the background...*GRIN*
And here we are, opening Christmas prezzies at my parents' house on December 23, 1999! *YAY* Unfortunately, Dave and I usually end up spending Xmas apart with our respective families...but on the bright side, it usually means that we get to give each other our gifts early...I certainly don't mind THAT prospect! *HEE HEE*
