This page shows you some cool pix from Dave's and my infamous road trips! Sometimes on weekends, we just get in the car and drive...without always having a particular destination in mind!
These trips sometimes involve camping, or they end up being extended daytrips...logging 600 kilometres or more a day is not at all unusual for us! You know you're really in love when you're in a vehicle together for hours on end, and you still have fun the whole time...and with Dave, every one of these trips is just a BLAST for me!

This is one of those "hold-the-camera-in-front-of-you" fun shots of Dave and I at a rest stop on Interstate 5 in Washington state, USA, in January 1998! Our main mode of transportation on these excursions is his sporty red Jeep in the background...
However, on occasion, we'll take my (don't laugh...*GRIN*) beloved K-car "Squeaky" on our roadtrips, too (the advantage being that I can drive it, since it's an automatic)! Here we are in September 1998 in my backyard, priming up for our daytrip towards the north end of Vancouver Island!
Check out this picture of us from a camping trip we were crazy enough to do with some old friends at the end of March '98, at Allouette Lake Provincial Park near Maple Ridge, British Columbia. It's not hard to tell we were in need of a temperature boost, eh???! That's part of the reason I'm holding on to him really tight...besides the fact that I love him to pieces! *GRIN*
Whenever we pass through the town of Hope, British Columbia, we have a tradition of going to the Infocentre and putting our heads into these cutout slots for pictures! This is a silly shot of us making "kissy faces" at each other...
Here's a picture of Dave and I that our friend Sherry was kind enough to take for us, as we were waiting to board a ferry heading over to the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia at the end of May '98...Dave's and my first trip over there! *GRIN* Sherry was going to visit her sister, so Dave and I decided to tag along and make a daytrip out of it! The scenery was just gorgeous, but we were so happily taking it in that we hardly took any pictures of it! *DOH* Guess that means we'll just hafta go back then and get some good pix to show you, eh???!
I'm gradually trying to separate pix from Dave's and my fun roadtrips onto separate pages, so this page doesn't take quite so long to load...*HEE HEE* Check out some of the cool places that we've been to, and be sure to keep coming back for updates! *GRIN*
